since i had to check out the warthogs early for their dentist appointment yesterday, gtboy didn’t bring home his report card yet
he doesn’t know i can see it online and have already checked it

good day to all
KG asked on the previous thread if anyone knows if a person visiting the states from Canada will need a power plug convertor for a hair dryer. Please let her know.
We have a few inches and had high winds so not fun. My sweetie took FFQ to school this morning (though I had to light a fire under him to not wait till after 7:30 to start moving… grr takes time to warm the car and sweep it off and extra driving time as since we live in Ohio we are not used to snow (sarcasm to the max).. he says she was there on time, the other day he dawdled so long here that she was tardy though the nice teacher didn’t mark it down… grrr he says it took him an hour to get back home though O.o not sure on that but there were fire hoses across the main intersection in town so he had to go around.. still not that far so no telling.
Got a call from my sister about 2:30am today, our mom had just passed away. I haven’t told the girls yet, want to wait til after school and PB78 has a party tonight so will probably wait til we pick her up in the morning to tell her.
So I am hiding out here in my room with Ezzy, doing emails and webbie things, will take a nap at some point I think. Should get to it soon to make it worth while.. zzzz lol

Anyone who actually gave guesses/ideas as to where the admins were will get prizes reflective of one of their ideas. The grand prize might come down to putting names in a hat and letting dgd1 pick a winner; ’cause they were all winners, all real doozy’s!

Thanks, gramma. When she was not improving at the nursing home I was pretty sure she would not be coming home, that is why we went ahead and moved to the west side, as I used to do her home care, etc
When we saw her last she was good for her condition but not very good, speech slurred some, wasn’t able to sit up or get out of bed anymore without help and not able to sit alone in a chair. But she was making fun of me so that was good, lol
My mom and I went through a lot together that my sisters weren’t there for and don’t know about, since it was just the two of us for a while before my oldest sister moved back when Ford did a huge lay off a few decades back

Thanks, momsk. I am sure it will be tough for the girls, more for FFQ as they were closer as my mom used to come visit us every week for some time before PB78 was born and she was not very old when my mom first took ill and was not able to travel. As she is getting older now, though, she is starting to feel the hurt from the junk that went on and this will hit her too.
This is just one more huge thing on top of a large sore pile for us.
Have to get through it and such and we will, wish my girls would get a break from hurting more though

The snowflakes come down between the first and fourth item spots in your dock, here:

Omg I can’t believe I missed winter fest. I have had the worst week at school. Wednesday I got hit in the face with a basketball. That night I popped my knee. Thursday my teacher was having a really bad day, and I said a joke and it got taken the wrong way. She was yelling at us, and I took everything she said to heart. I also took the whole entire conversation literally. Everything is ok now, but I am so mad at myself for missing this. I could not even tell you the last time I was on webkinz. OMG my leg fell asleep so bad between 7 and 8 oclock that when I stood up I collapsed. It was scary. I literally fell to the ground and my brother had to help me up… and I could still barely walk after. It felt soooo coool!
