What was your best and worst gift you received for Hanukkah or Christmas?

    Ok I am re-posting this because when I hit post it said comments closed! LOL

    Hi Everyone!

    First let me say this…Dee…ummm… wow…I’m not sure where you live, but if you really needed windshield wipers..those are one of the best and are costly..range of $60-$75 dollars! so um they are good ones! and lets face it..good wipers are a blessing. I know because I was just bought those for my car( yes a present too! LOL), and as I have bad eyesight, it has made driving in snow or rain much easier for me, thus making ME safer (my guy is a mechanic so he always thinks of car stuff..) Men don’t always think lovey dovey stuff for us..but maybe he was thinking of something you probably really needed..just didn’t know it.

    I totally get your being upset..But just think… you’ll have nice clear windows! LOL

    But I will say I also got one of those fancy mixers I have always wanted..the RED Kitchen Aid one! the wipers were in my stocking..and YES I really needed them for my new car. So your in good company! (sure were not married to brothers? ROFLMAO)

    I actually would have guessed the Rosetta Stone DVD Roms, as your learning languages..lol or the mixer I got..but then you probably have that already???

    I was pretty shocked that he got me the mixer…it’s a very expensive item..and just think ..now I get to go to Chef’s and start buying ALL the accessories to go with it! heheheh….and you know what…he bought me a convection oven for my birthday…hmmmm think he is telling me something? like cook more? LOL

    And Moms? I apparently missed something on here..you had surgery? I don’t know what you are going through, but HUGS! I hope you get better quickly! and I am off to look for the tye dyed shoes and top..pretty sure I have the shoes somewhere…in 6 rooms FULL of clothing..not sure about top but do know I have two extras pieces..so as soon as I find the shoes I will stork them over..and if i have the top that will come too! be well! HUGS!

    As to the rest of you all..you made me ROFLMBO with all your crazy comments..WHY oh WHY do I miss all the fun here!? lol hope all of you have a wonderful day tomorrow…sill try to stop back in at an earlier time miss you all! HUGS!

    enchant missed my fun! yep, i had an emergency very early Friday morning – had to get dh to take me to the ER & had emergency surgery Fri. afternoon, got out of the hospital Christmas eve (the next day) & am at home recovering 🙁

    Ended up I have both dgd’s today! 🙂 took them to Five Below. Meandered to the webkinz and they kept walking. 😐 left the store with those squishy things with bristle looking rubber things sticking out all over them. You’d think a cute, soft and cuddly webkinz would have been the better choice. *raised eyebrow*

    Best/Worst gift. No worst ones; all were best. dd2 gave me the 15th Anniversary Edition of ‘Flight of the Reindeer’. It’s a beautiful book to add to my Christmas collection. 🙂 I LOVE Christmas stories!

    The worst gift I’ve ever gotten was….hmm, I can’t really think of any gifts that have been very bad. I did get a purple blanket as a gift and it turns out I had just bought that same purple blanket the day before! I never told my friend that I already had it, I just acted happy and later returned one of them… 😳

    The Adventure Park does tend to make the computers drag or freeze. I can’t wait til we can get the tower system running again and see if that improves things.

    just finished chores, or the ones I can do while others are sleeping

    fed the out front kitties and got them water, put the shoes on the newly assembled shoe rack, they can rearrange them later on but the rack isn’t blocking the front door this way.

    kitty chores done, scooped, fed and watered 😉 Ezzy is in my room now playing with a toy, avidly, lol her current toy is a ring used in packing a set of metal shelves. The kitties, especially Ezzy, LOVE the rings and play with them a lot.
