going to deliver them to the ‘drop off’ place

oatmeal, haystacks, peanut butter, sugar cookies and clementines
the haystacks were from earlier, I froze the extras.

Hi Ladies! both dd’s are making cookies tomorrow. dd1 brought a plate of … somethings over last night. They’re round and on a stick, upside down on a plate. She said it was cake batter mixed with frosting/icing?, rolled into a ball, stuck on a stick, and dipped in more icing. They’re really pretty all red, green, white and chocolate with sprinkles on some of them; very festive. I’m afraid to eat one. 🙄 do you think the cake batter was baked ‘then’ mooshed with the icing?
Any cookie someone else has taken the time to make and share with me is my favorite. Tho’ I especially love spritz. Aren’t they the ones you shoot out of a cookie gun? chocolate chip, peanut butter w/kisses in ’em, brownies, gingerbread, pizzells, cranberry oatmeal….what’s a haystack?

my grandmother makes “peanut butter chews” with corn flakes & peanut butter – do haystacks usually have peanut butter? i’ve never made them, but i’m tired of peanut butter things since i made chocolate dipped peanut butter balls, surprise cookies (peanut butter cookies with a mini snickers in the center, & a few peanut butter cookies with m&ms (not too many since one of the boys knocked over the bowl with 1/2 the dough on the floor as i was making those . . . )

sure wish you baker gals lived closer. 🙁 family members take pity on me, or maybe on dh, ’cause I don’t bake and barely cook. Not that I’m incapable, just don’t
like doing it. dh loves to cook; scours recipes online. dd1 has become quite the cookie baker. dd2 fakes it. LOL

i have never seen raspberry chips, altho I have raspberry hershey kisses hugs in my freezer…grind them and put in a cookie
also out now is cherry filled kisses….
coconut ones are good too
they are seasonal, so i keep them in the freezer so they do not “bloom”

Um those of you who haven’t written a SantaKinz letter yet, you better get it on. Get it together people, Christmas is less than two weeks away.
My faves holiday treats are green and red M&M cookies that my mommy makes. And those Pillsbury holiday cookies that are in a cylinder and you cut up and bake. Sooo yummy. And deluxe hot chocolate that my brother makes.

slice and bake?
I make homemade dough, roll it up in waxpaper “tubes” and freeze it….then I pop it out and slice and bake it at a later date…

i have this cheapo island thing from walmart (until the real kitchen EVER gets done) and I do little shows for the peeps when they are in the mood.

yes coco, jealous, vacations around here usually mean more work for me to do….packing/feeding/entertaining/booking/driving and so on
my dream vacay would be a stack of books and some pretzels

cwc – I know what you mean on trading….. the last few times I’ve been in the TR, people just snub their nose up at you over the littlest thing. Or they don’t give me enough time to go through items in my dock to put more up. 🙄 I think the last major trading I did was last year for Santakinz, but that’s IT.
