Hey ladies! Is it just me or is there TOO MUCH TO DO IN WW RIGHT NOW?! After family stuff and work, I only have so many hours a day to play Webkinz, and right now I’m spending my time finding ads on the Parent Club, watching Kinectimals videos, working on the room challenges, spinning wheels for Arthur Christmas, looking for bonus spree rolls, and playing my Adventure Park quests. I don’t have time to do any of the FUN stuff! 🙁 I can’t remember the last time (both before and after the computer-less period) that I just got to it down and decorate rooms all day, and I miss that. Anybody else feeling this way?
Oh, did somebody send me a tour van by mistake? If so, let me know so I can send it back!

In the day and age where people are either not smart enough or haven’t been raised better to know TV is not necessarily a good thing to emulate, you don’t use poor behaviors to try to “sell” your store or wears/wares. I haven’t seen the Kohl’s commercial; mostly been watching Christmas movies on the two Hallmark channels.
dd2 got me Black Friday shopping in ’08; I LOVE IT!! it’s been my experience that everyone is festive and friendly(some in jammies! :shock:) shopping in the middle of the night. LOL
I also don’t go with the intention of buying anything, ie no list. If I see something it’s a plus; if not, no biggie. We get the free Mickey snowglobes Penney’s gives out. I have a couple free watches from NY&Co. too. We’ve had breakfast at Johnny Rockets at 4am and watched the waiters disco line dance in the restaurant AND out in the mall! It’s a GREAT time!! 😆

ro, I totally agree with you!! I was a bit nervous the first year. We were in a line waiting for Target to open that wound half way around the … shopping center? doesn’t quite sound right; but I guess that’s what it is, only really nice. There were several police cars, with officers and dogs; yet they seemed more a presence than anything else. I did buy things that year and they wouldn’t all fit in the cart so I was holding an armful while waiting to check out. The person in front of me took their toaster oven out and let me have their cart for the things in my arms. It’s gestures like that that restore faith in the basic goodness of people. 🙂
We don’t do Walmart on Black Friday, nor ToysR’Us. 😐

ro, I saw the commercial several times on the Hallmark movie channel while watching Christmas movies today. All I can say is ‘WHY did they feel the need to add all the objectionable behaviors????? it could have been a fun, lively, festive commercial WITHOUT being RUDE!!! 🙄 I honestly don’t get it. What are advertisers thinking??? that it’s ‘funny’ to be rude and ignorant????? bah!
and I really like our Kohl’s! gave me pause when a check out girl automatically gave me a senior discount 😯 , but I’ll take the extra 15% off. 🙄 btw, ask crazy! I don’t think I look ‘that’ senior. 😳

Theres nothing worth fighting for on black friday! Esp at places like Toys R Us. You must have one bratty child if you have to run someone down just to get a toy they want.And like the electronics are usualy not the best quality. But still I would be so angry if someone toke something I had in my hand or in my cart. Now if someone bought like 20 of the same item, I wouldn’t feel bad taking it out of their cart to be honest cause thats not being fair.
