Back from the grocery store…. and have a MAJOR headache. 🙁
Poor June is still fighting whatever it is she has. Our Vet STINKS so we’re making the 2 hour drive tomorrow to take her to the Vet that got April’s foot problem straightened out. Fingers crossed it’s nothing serious and doesn’t cost us a fortune!!

Krafty – Yup, all the eggs the ladies will lay are already spoken for by family/friends. 😉 Hopefully next year I’ll be able to add to my flock. I’d love to have enough eggs daily to have a sign at the end of my driveway that I have them for sale. My chickies will be free range during the day while I’m outside and closed up in the coop at night.

Same thing with me rontu! Like after September, it’s the dry monthes where I have to live off a certain amount of money until christmas. Right now I have about $130 left but I hope to get more sometime soon. But I may have to take another $20 out or something for my cellphone that I am going to want to get for easter.
Do you get anything for easter/other april holidays?
Like $100 seems like a lot to someone, but to me its like oh no, I will be in the double digits soon!

When you are THIS kid, its not a lot. I do work hard for my money though. I don’t get much money for my birthday. Sometimes I get $100 for christmas, but I use that up fast and thats because like we bought all the stuff before hand and my mom feels guilty like giving me a couple of knick knacks like shaving cream and razors.

oh…i make my own chocolate.
it’s really not that difficult once you get use to it.
first you roast the cocoa beans. then you crack and winnow the beans. grind the nibs into a cocoa liqueur. i have a special juicer thing for that. conch and refine the chocolate. this can be a bit tedious. but worth it in the end. temper the chocolate. this is TRICKY!!!!! be careful with that step. 😕 then you just pour it into your mold, or whatever shape you like. after it sets, you just enjoy. 😉

I told my niece that we would be glad to do the special events in her daughter’s WW account, she has missed so many great events. To copy and paste.
You know that little thing you know to move the arrow around the page? The mouse?
Move it to a piece of text. Say you want to copy and paste this line. Move the cursor at the end of this.
Now drag the mouse, highlighting what you would like to copy. Once its highlighted, you know the buttons on the mouse, use the right click button. There is something called copy. There is cut and copy, cut- CUTS the text out, so its gone, until you go back and right click in a text box- PASTE
COPY-Just copies, like a copy machine

Choco, need to keep in mind that some people are just not inclined to certain things, tech stuff, cooking, driving to new places… my oldest sister is a chemist type person, she has a degree even but she can NOT cook and has a hard time even heating something up in the microwave.. that so doesn’t go together since she can “cook” in a lab but put her in a kitchen instead of the lab and her brain goes “tilt tilt” lol
Number of times things are explained sometimes just doesn’t help, they don’t get it and many times do not have the background knowledge for the new thing to make sense…
what about a windows for dummy’s book? or video, that could be great for your mom, she can play it over and over and anytime she needs the info.

I have a degree in math and when my mom needed help with her college math classes I helped her out showing examples and how to “see” the problems and figure them out, she would ask WHY and I just told her, for her purposes at the time, she didn’t need the WHY at the time and taking the time to explain and give her the background to understand the WHYS was not the best use of her time right then.
When we did have time, I explained and.. well.. she was happier not knowing so much haha she has a head for numbers though but her thing is accounting.
My mom is a smartie though, she graduated high school at 15 years, she skipped grades!

They don’t let us skip grades now, we can graduate early, but you have to take like your junior year FILLED with core classes, and you end up missing alot of the college class opportunities, so its like go ahead and take those college courses even if you may never use it. You can take the course to become a CNA and theres an unappealing backup job lol or a EMT.

Somehow my english teacher gives me a letter for Miss Teen North Carolina and its like how does this stuff go through the school apparently theres no application fee and theres only the sponsor fee if you actually win. But I just want to win the NC, so I can get the $1500 in scholarships. The place its in is over the summer and is in a city 2.5 hours away but my mom goes there a lot. I looked at the stuff and for the class rank, I master that, I am #1, I am a great speaker, do amazing in school, I just don’t have an impact on the community.

They don’t allow skipping here anymore either.. well maybe at some point if the parents are insisting on it but few parents are involved in the kids education to that level anymore.
That sounds like a good opportunity and a new experience, Flowiing. Not too late to sign up to be a Candy Striper or join Rainbow Girls, etc to cover the community thing.. volunteer at the elementary school to help those with trouble reading or trouble with math, etc.

Dee~ I hate when people over explain things when you really dont need an explanation, it really gets on my nerves. Like when my mom, if she tells you to go upstairs and get her phone, instead of just saying its on the table, she’ll say ‘its on the table, next to the bed, on the left side, right by the books, etc’ just say its on the table!

Flow – Yeah, I am not hiding there again – all muddy. JR and I did the coin search (did not enjoy it), but did miss any leprechauns here. I liked the second time WKN gave away clothes, but the first time when they only gave 2/3 of the outift and the last item was estore… what a scam!
We are all in good health and way tooo busy with life. JR turned 9 in March. Wow when I came here he was only 6 (well, almost 7).

Hey CWC! 😀 I’m great! I just came home from dance acutally! I danced my rear off! LOL. We added on a HUGE chunk to our dance, and we did a short pilates and a short workout at the barre, and then we did a tinsy bit of floor work. And I am the worst leaper on the planet. But I’m getting better. 🙂

dee, hello! And i think that that is sooo cool! that is what they do on this other website I go on. You get “CD’s” which is like the kc on there, and I’ve watched like 40 videos and answered questions, so I have like 70 thousand CD’s! 😳 The good thing is they are mostly movie previews, so I’m not that bored by them. 🙂

my mile time was horrible i got 10.03 minutes (most ppl get 7-8 minute miles)
my 100 meter sprint time was 17.41 seconds and most ppl get 15-16 seconds 🙁
