today we’re going to lil’s friend’s house for lunch. his mom was going to be a professional chef, but she changed careers to be a doctor. she’s a really good cook. these are more of lil’s friend, but i was invited.
i got the sims 3 yesterday, so i was playing it all night. lol
and i got this really cute sweater at kohl’s, my mom had $30 kohl’s cash, so she needed to spend it.

Wow what a blizzard….I remember a blizzard that hit MI when I was a teenager. It was BAD. School had started. It came up fast. The weather people didn’t realize how bad it was gonna be(now there’s a surprise 🙄 ) The were closing all the schools even the factories. Our school was like the last to close. When we were dismissed the snow was up to my hips butt in some places (I have a 36″ inseam). Some girls were crying. The boys & taller girls were helping them get through the snow. I remember at one point thinking it was gonna completely white out.

I had to start packing up Christmas today, due to some family things coming up. It’s soooo sad! I LOVE everything about Christmas; but we do what we have to do. 🙄 Also heard from my Dad; no New Years party this year. Too much snow outside and too many kids for inside. Can’t say I’m too disappointed. I like staying ‘in’.
Seems to me…KG, rf, toby, the oompa’s and myself don’t live too terribly far apart. Some different states, but in an easy drive proximity. We all got pounded with snow. dh’s unofficial measurement was 13″. The news said parts of my county got 2′! Luckily we didn’t lose electric, tho’ I was totally prepared just in case.
I thought I saw a comment by KG recently; like maybe a thread or two ago? The snow was light because it was so cold. Haven’t heard of any major power outages. idk I hope KG and her family are ok.
