Lunar Eclipse Chat!
Haha hey so Kay’s contest is finished so i thought I’d do a little after contest chat.
As most of you know there is a lunar eclipse tonight. From wikipedia: A lunar eclipse occurs when the moon passes behind the earth so that the earth blocks the sun’s rays from striking the moon. This can occur only when the Sun, Earth, and Moon are aligned exactly, or very closely so, with the Earth in the middle. Hence, there is always a full moon the night of a lunar eclipse.
It’s the first eclipse on the winter solstice since 1638! That’s a long time! only the 2nd in the modern era!

Hey all! Nothing much on the eclipse so far. There’s a light cloud cover here 🙁 but the eclipse should be good in half an hour! And I think I’ll stay up long enough to see the total eclipse!

howdy all… super hectic day. Rushed back to get my mom to her Dr appt, got home… grr on the traffic on the way.. and she thought the appt was at 1:30 and it was at 11. Got her there… got her home, got her changed and fed… watched a bit on Walker Texas Ranger and then on the road to the mall for a bite to eat and Christmas shopping!

i can’t find the moon, i tried to look from my back sun room and i don’t see it, so it must either be behind clouds or in the front of the house but it’s entirely too cold to go out there!
also according to the doppler radar it should be snowing here and i haven’t seen one single snow flake

I saw the eclipse at 3:17. Someone said that was the best time to see it. The moon was kind of a rust color. If I hadn’t known where the moon was, I probably wouldn’t have seen it. By 4:20ish about half the moon was showing again.

Midget the the Love puppy couch is RARE
Rash-we also have what we call Gymbo blog Trading Ediquette. Which means if you have something for trade the first person who asks to trade get to trade first. It doesn’t mean you have to trade with that person but they get first chance. Other people wait in line 🙂
So IF midget decides she wants to trade the Love Puppy couch then Momz would have first shot. We have each other emails & you can trade that way if you want BUT not to beat someone else out. Make sense? That’s why this IS such a good blog! 🙂
