I have sent them many many years to dh when he was far far away and to friends when they were far far away. unfortunately you can not do just “any soldier” with cookies.Has to be a pre approved group and recipient. I’m feeling very blue today. I don’t want to get into everything but one of the things is I get toys through out the year that go on clearance, If they are a really cute toy for really good price. My mom keeps them at her house & we give them to church services at Christmas for the kids. I just found out that this year my mom sold most of them at a yard sale last week. π₯ my heart is broken. when she said she was giving me some of the money I told her I didn’t want it. I’m so sad π

gwen, just think that someone who really needed them must be very blessed this Christmas. you never know why things work out the way they do. my dd left her jacket (a school jacket that took 2 months to get in & was somewhat expensive) at her sisters school & someone took it & we have yet to see her brand new jacket. when we were praying the other day, i guess i was kinda of hoping that the person that had must have REALLY needed it.

I did a couple yard sales and was selling some of the girls’ too small clothes.. to new and expectant moms… they picked out stuff and when it came time to pay they didn’t have enough for what they needed/wanted… one paid what she had originally intended to pay (I do this all the time, set the budget and then over shoot it, lol) and the other had just a $5 so I told her to just take what she wanted.. pay it forward… others did for me/us and when we can pass that on, we do. I had hoped to get enough $ to shop for new for my girls but… it worked out this way and it was great! I felt better being able to help others and we made do for a while longer with what they had.

crazy, the only problem with my real babies is that when they get barking, they drive me crazy and set the jack russell off. The are so clever. I talk to them they are quite I leave the room they bark, I come back they stop — such needy babies lol — I wish it was a plush it would be so cool to see what they come out like.
I also thiink the glider is going to be one of the first new ones in the club house. I hope!!!

So, me and one of my best friends Grace were sitting in social studies. We were joking around and talking in british accents, in a ghetto way — π LOL
My history teacher was like, “STOP MAKING FUN OF THE BRITISH!” And she gave Grace a detention, and she let me off the hook because she knew I was on the school’s “dance team”. Well Grace is a cheerleader, so she got suspended from that, all because we were talking ghetto in british accents. Stupid right? Well, there’s more stories.
