My ds is so sweet we were getting some things for a fam the other day. That needs a little help & he saw this toy he really wanted. I told him I didn’t think I had enough to get it with.
Instead of whining or asking why? He put it back & said,
“That’s okay I understand it’s more important to help someone else than for me to have a toy. I want them to have stuff too. If I can’t get it now or for Christmas I want you to know I understand & I’m fine. Cuz ya know mom it really is better to give than receive ”
That made my day. sniffles happily. I was soooo proud. I felt bad because I was a little stunned. He is an amazing kid ♥

Theres nothing really bad is going on its, just too much is going on. Its just all these negative feeling towards everything. I really do not like my niece. My mom even tells her friends like serious voice that she loves her grandkids alot more than her kids. Well I knew that already but its like those grandkids are just perfect angels. If I do, happen to have kids, not that I want them, where will they fall? My mom will be dirt old by the time I have kids so.. what will happen? I want my kids to have the same treatment as the earlier ones. They should get all those nice toys.

We were so shocked by the snow. It was wonderful. the snowballs were more ice balls. but we had fun. JR has too many wihses. My wish is granted just to get to say hi. 🙂

too many pc problems in your household. Glad you and rest of the fam are ok. Sometimes when we pray for others to be well we get the worst of it but at the end we know we are special because we receive something we can handle/deal it.

Elf We have had too many PC issues. We are thinking about a laptop for our emergencies, but this time I wiped the hard drive clean and reloaded everything. I just need Powerpoint and Adobe Phjotoshop. Thank God that I had all our photos backed up on the external drive.

all here are all bettter now. thanks for concern. When they were both sick, I got to stay up with JR until 4 AM quite a few nights (mornings). I took him to the couch, hugged him tight and put on cartoon DVDs. He was sort of sad when he got better…. no more late nights with dad watching cartoons.
I am very sorry that long distances do not work well, but VERY happy that old aquaintances can help warm things up and give hope.

Donder is on facebook, but Boogie has even given up those games because of time constraints. I must email them and tell them to visit during December. Boogie says this blog reminds her too much of Jackie (her mom) and that makes her sad. I doubt that she or peena will be back. 🙁

JRsDad- I was having issues with them too. Although the key kraze one was the hamster getting stuck on the treasure chest, and in gift grab, the hamster falling into a pit of blue, and running into the never ending blue, but it was back to normal the next day.

Webkinz with Mazin Hamster’s Pack @ Walgreens
At my work (Walgreens) we have gotten in the “Special” Webkinz 2 Packs. They come with a Large Webkinz and a Kinz Clip or a Large Webkinz and a MAZIN HAMSTER…..for $9.99 at my store!!!! Different large pets include the Reindeer, Koala bear, Leopard, and Charcoal Cat. Those are all that I have seen so far.
Just thought I would pass this along to all my fellow WI friends. It’s a great deal!! If your Walgreens sells Webkinz, ask someone if they have them. Ours are not out on the shelf yet! We also have the Lil Kinz in the Merry Christmas bags. Not sure which lil kinz they are….I can check and post it here when I find out!

rashroosh – I work in a lobster tank shop. We keep the lobsters in crates for the fishermen. We also sort/pack them as well. It’s a lot of heavy lifting!

My Great Grandma use to make colored popcorn balls cover them in saran wrap Hang ’em like ornaments then give ’em to the kids when we came. To this day I have NEVER had a popcorn ball as good as hers.

KGAH – Until the end of May, but it really starts slowing down when January gets here. The water gets colder and the lobsters move slower, hence the major drop in lobsters. The three weeks before Christmas is the biggest time of year for the lobster industry around here. It’s when people bring in the most profit.

I know a tradition we do. It just started one year. When we hang the candy candy we talk about why they were made & how they tell about Jesus

They look like a shepherds staff-Jesus is the Good Shepherd
They are white with red stripes-His suffering(the stripe or lashes etc.) makes us pure
Jesus blood washes away our sin- -the red disappears leaving the white(we are forgiven!!)

The True Magic Of Christmas
I wish that Teardrop didn’t have to get retired. I love him so much. it easier to just buy the gingerbread house kit. 9 bucks and has all the stuff
when we make the cookies, i just use the betty crocker mix.
the frosting is really and truly like cement for the houses. We use a milder cream cheese one for the cookies. Our house just sits until dd and dh take it out back and use it for target practice

KGH-I know A great cheat recipe. Buy a 2 sugar cookie box recipes or 2 ready made tubes take one box when done of warmed tube blend a
1/2 teaspoon of peppermint oil(you can always add more to taste but be careful peppermint is VERY strong) & red food coloring. wrap & chill.
Then you just roll the red mint dough out flat. then the plain white out flat. Lay the white on the red & roll them up. chill for about 20min then slice & you have Peppermint swirl cookies!!!

thankfully, most of the ones we like are refrigerator cookies, where you mix dough, shape into a slice and bake type tube, and then you can freeze or store til you are ready. I do a couple doughs a day at this time of year. And just pull them out, slice and bake
