If you can’t see all the items at the bottom of your screen, you might try changing your monitor resolution to 1024×768.
Windows 98/2000/XP Users
1. Right-click on your desktop (away from any icons or open windows)
2. Select “Properties”
3. This will open your Display Properties Control Panel.
4. Click on the “Settings” tab.
5. In the middle of this panel, you will see your “Screen Resolution” slider. Slide this to the right, until you get to 1024×768 (higher resolutions are okay, but make sure that they are compatible with your monitor). Press “OK” to confirm your choice.
6. Your monitor will flicker a bit then change to its new settings. You’re now ready to go!
Windows Vista Users
* Method 1: From the desktop

hello everyone! how have you guys been lately? sorry i haven’t been around a lot these last two weeks, right now i’m working hard on deep cleaning my room, i’m reorganizing draws, getting rid of stuff, redecorating shelfs, and it’s coming along so nicely, it feels great to have a neat room, it makes it more relaxing to spend time in there for sure
i’ve also been helping one of my best friends decorate her new house, she just moved and she’s in the process of deciding how she wants each room to look, it’s been fun

as a stay at home mom, who work from sun up to sun up and then start over again, make up is not on the list for the day… an unnecessary expense to put it on daily.. only use it when going out fancy

Good morning everyone!
Please say a prayer for my husband and the rest of the lobster fishermen that headed out this morning for the first day of lobster fishing! Today is the most dangerous day for them as the boats are completely loaded down with lobster pots. I’ve been listening to the coast guard plane circling all morning as they watch over the boats to make sure everyone is okay. Very unnerving to say the least! 😯

RF – Thanks for the prayers. 🙂 DH won’t be home until around 5-6pm tonight. He’ll be home for a few short hours and be headed back out. They aren’t allowed to start “fishing” the pots until after midnight tonight. When they leave tonight, they will likely stay gone until Wednesday night if not longer. It all depends on what kind of shape the lobsters are in as well as the weather.

I saw on net that target, macys and walmart and amazon have super sales today. I checked their websites and they have nothing that we want or need.
I have seen no webbie sales. I am still in shock that ganz is not doing anything., This would be right up their alley….virtual stuff for real money

Ugh. The Christmas decorations are driving me insane. 😯 I’m obsessing over the Christmas tree…. and how the lights and garland look on top of the kitchen cabinets. 😯 I swear I think I’m borderline OCD at times. Lord help me…. I am heading outside in a second to tackle the decorations that go out there. 😯

Alisha – I will say a prayer for your husband. Remember that Jesus has a special place in His heart for fisherman (his first disciples probably looked like your dh.) I suggest you read Psalm 91 and pray those promises of safety for J. 🙂 May they have safety and a record catch!!

I am almost at 100% PC funtioning. I cannot get the fonts fixed on hamster stuff, but JR is back in Webkinz world!! Woo-hoo!
I have a favor to ask my friends here, I need new suggestions for Christmas movies and your favorite Christmas CDs.
I LOVE Christmastime! We go a bit crazy with the movies and music, but keep sane on spending. BIg on enjoyment, not big on commmercialization. Anyway… We try to watch new Chrsitmas movies every year and as soon I get “ELF”, I am out of ideas for movies. We have 30 Christmas movies and cartoons. I will not let JR watch movies like “Scrooged” (Bill Murray) or “Jingle All the Way” (Arnold the Terminator). I was embarrassed at the amount of bad (swear/curse) words when we watched Chevy Chase in “Christmas Family Vacation”. So, please keep the ideas for family viewing. I am not interested in “DieHard” type ideas that happen at Chrsitmastime. JRsMom ruled out repeated viiewings of “Home Alone”, due to the violence. (Yes, we are pretty conservative.)
If you have a CD or movie to recommend please put “Hey JRsDad, Hey JR or Hey Dad” in your comment and from now until the 25th, I will search for any sugggestions. I will type up and list our movies, some are quite old, but sweet and wonderful. I will not list my Christmas CDs (I have 84 and counting).But, I am always looking for great Chrsitmas music. So… thanks for any suggestions. I’ll try to list my movies soon with my comments for you all.
Have a wonderful day and sorry that I have been away for so long. (I bet you have missed my long comments and typos.) It is truely my loss.

usually the day after turkey day! a friend and I have a bit of a contest to see who gets the others card first. I know she has me beat this year!
busy day, but boring day. cleaning, watchind dh do drywall, rough draft of my paper which is due thursday. dinner prep, laundry….all that…..ha ha ha
I like my “down” days. Makes it easier to drive to town/college and do errands afterwards.
I am going to a christmas bazaar type thing on saturday. want to go?
I briefed my people and i really hope they do not want to go with. Then I can spend some cash. I like primitive folk/country art, and last year this place had the most beautiful ornaments
