    ACTUALLY dee, when we were kids. one of my friends had a pecan tree in their front yard. and we would get them after they had fallen off the tree & crack them open & eat them up that way!! it’s been a while since i have done that though. :/ BUT i do LOVE to have a bowl full of nuts around the house this time of year. but now with my baby butterbeans nut allergies. i don’t think it would be a good idea. πŸ™

    and i LOVE the butterballs MUCH more than a wild turkey!! i will get it, but someone else can eat it. LOL

    seems there will be no big T-day meal here… my youngest won’t be with us, mom fussing about accommodating other new family members… and no idea yet when my sister will have her day off

    oh well, as long as we get to spend some time with people we love it will still be a grand day
