Chicklebird – I don’t like the Wheel of the Month hat, don’t think it trades very well, BUT Ganz will probably change the items on the Wheel of the Month someday, meaning eventually the hat will not be on there, so it might be worth something someday 😉 I’m saving at least one for sure, in case they do ‘retire’ it. 😉

my moms i doing well, she is improving, but it is going to be a slow recovery . . . she is going to have to have another surgery to get a “full” recovery on her knee, so it is definitely a marathon, not a sprint . . .
but, she is improving and progressing, so that is great! i’m not sure when she can drive . . . i think it will probably be a couple more weeks at least, but, i’m not sure . . .

mazin’ question…I adopted two hamsters. When I click on the Mazin’ hamsters in the Things to Do menu, all I get is a blue screen. I have no plans to ‘do’ anything in the mazes; Spooky and Nick are settled into the webkinz house. I was curious tho’ to see what the mazes looked like. Also, they each came with maze things; are those in the mazin’ hamster section? they aren’t in my dock.

We had tons of foods in our docks.. a LOT of PSF’s too as when we adopted we would buy their food… I got tired of wading through the food so I decided to play with the pets I already had food for.. used it up, moved to the next one…. hardly any food left now 😀

Happy Thursday Everyone!
Have not checked email for two days. Behind on fb and WK. We had a blast on a field trip to a local battle fround. JR got to see a musket and cannon fired. Nice trip, but were not sure how much of the “education” part of it stuck.
I sent a friend’s request to Chicklebird. I can see that we need to set up a food exchange program for JR, RF, CB (Chiclebird) and any other PSF collectors.
I copied the list for Chicklebird and will search JR’s dock. This is a good time to thank all of you that generously send food items and PSF to JR when you adopt a new pet. Thanks a million.

thanks! it was pretty mind-blowing. the tandem was more exciting and nerve-wracking. you pretty much roll out of the plane–so you’re looking down at the ground. i just became a student skydiver and to exit the plane you look up at the propeller on the wing, so your eyes are up at the sky the whole time. i didn’t register seeing the ground until after i had deployed my parachute. also, i was so engaged in the procedures and maneuvers that i wasn’t concerned about anything else. i was so surprised NOT to be scared at any point during the jumps. (i’ve made 2 student jumps, so 3 total.) if you email me, i’ll send you links to my videos if you want to see them. (my WWID at gmail)

I can’t decide. The choir/drama class is taking a trip to NYC in May and i want to go. My parents said that they will think about it but if i go to NYC then i can’t go to camp this summer. The NYC trip cost twice as much as camp does and the first payment for the trip is next week so i need to decide quick. I really want to go to both but i can only pick one…

Its kinda unfair because the people in chior were told about the trip on the first day and the people in drama weren’t told about it til yesterday. The first payment was actually due last month but they said that if we want to go the first payment will be next week and they will just add an extra payment to it to make up for the one last month. It also gave the people in chior more time to decide.

Flow~ The NYC trip is only for this year (they go somewhere different every year, last year it was Disney but i wasn’t given the option to go) THey are going to see 3 broadways shows, a broadway workshop (like a dance lesson), shopping, and some other stuff)

I *think* I will have straight A’s on my report card again this year. My math grade is borderline High B and Low A, I think I have it a LOW A……Gosh I hope so. I will die if I get a B on my report card, lol. We get them next week but all grades have to be in the computer tomorrow . . .

I am wondering how I survived dh being gone for months when he was still in the service. Report cards came home today, so dd is hogging main computer with itunes stuff. We pay for good grades here. I once got a washer and dryer off of mine! LOL

good for you cat! i didn’t do so well in high school, i was a slacker and didn’t do my homework much, i regret it now but i definitely changed when i was actually paying for school, i don’t think i made less then a B+ from that point on

I don’t have a wish list ’cause I only randomly come across something I decide I need. It also helps to have a fairy godmother who always seems to fulfill a wish I didn’t know I had. LOL
We never paid for good grades or chores. It was expected our girls did their very best; they always came through. They had allowances for being part of the family; it was never attached to what they ‘did’. It worked for us and them. They’re both extremely productive, successful women in their fields, great mothers, wonderful wives, etc. AND best of all, they’re very close to us as adults with their own families. 😀 I think, imho, each family has to determine what will work for them to get the desired results.

I can’t believe the butterfly thingy does nothing, they “borrowed” the idea from Facebook Farmville and then cheap it up with no animation… FV version is animated you just have to zoom in to see it, lol

My parents should pay be for my grades.. they only gave me someone once, like when I got my build a bear groundhogs like a year or 2 ago. My mom bought me one of them and then later she got me 3 BABY groundhogs (they were only in a few locations so they shipped them from St. Louis)
