Changes – New Theme, Prizes, Game & More!
Here are some of the updates from this morning’s Webkinz World maintenance!
The Mazin’ Hamsters are now residents of WW.
Also, the opening page of WW now shows your Daily KinzCare so that you will remember to click “I Love My Webkinz” each day. Now when you fill up your heart by clicking every day for the week, you will win a prize from the new Webkinz Prize Pool! (Items can not be traded, so you need to earn them for yourself.)
The new game Atlantiles is in the Arcade, more Halloween items are in the WShop, and a new Wonderful Wonderland theme will be in the Curio Shop!
New Haunted Halloween theme items include: Monster Claws Door (1331 kc), Ghastly Grave (1013 kc), Cursed Cradle bed (1313 kc). Ganz even got creative with their pricing. ;-) Three people who comment under this post with the word spooky in their comment will win a new item from the WShop Haunted Theme! Don’t tell, just see who reads the whole post . . . Enjoy the Updates! Thanks, Ganz!

IMPORTANT PLEASE READ
i just got off the phone with ganz and the code shop in webkinz is not working properly today, it’s a known issue for them, i tried to unlock a hamster i bought from the estore and it keeps freezing on the page where you confirm the name you’ve chosen for the hamster, and if you log out at this point it locks your code for 24 hours, he unlocked it for mean and said to try again tomorrow
in the mean time i’m headed to the doctor, i’m getting some test results today and would appreciate good thoughts and vibes from everyone, i’m nervous and i need them

There is a brand new Webkinz product being released by Ganz: Webkinz Kinzbands Wrist Bands. There are two different packs of bands, each containing six Webkinz designs. At this point, there is no mention of a feature code or of any online prizes, but we will be keeping a look out for more news.
These bracelets, and all of the other products scheduled for release in November 2010.

ok i’m back, i had an ultrasound and the tests were inconclusive, we ruled out few things but they couldn’t tell much from the tests, i’m just trying not to worry about it bc worry does nothing to help, thanks for the prayers everyone!! *hugs*

I was worried about the hamsters too.. I had told PB78 about the glitch but she had put hers in already and I was sure I told FFQ too but then she was telling me about some different room and renaming one hamster so I asked what she was doing,,, entering a hamster code, Mom… so it worked ok for her… hope it does for you too… I am having connection problems again and haven’t been able to get back into WW

I am not sure about the dire wolf.. I think the intent, especially with the changes, was to make it spooky as opposed to historically accurate..
