gtboy22 got an orangutan 😀 the cream soda pup is more cuddly than the ginger cat, and spaghettimachine thinks it might be more cuddly than the marshmallow bunny, too
neither hallmark nor justice had my grey tabby cat, yet. . .
after seeing the bear psi in a room, i just almost bought the signature bear, then i reminded myself about the sept. pets and how much i like the tabby psi. i need to see the tabby – i’ll probably get it instead of the bear b/c of the tabby is a small sig which means smaller $$$ too 😉

Yeah flowiing, on my way flying from Salt Lake city to San Francisco, via nashville, the people in front of me were sitting next to those emergency exits, and the flight attendants told them they had to be willing to operate the exit doors in case of emergency! Alana-Its well kinda off, the Pilot’s Area is well, a cockpit. lol Its it usually small, the lavatory is in the back of the plane, the lodge would be more near the front of the plane because thats were ‘first class’ would be.
Baggage would be at the bottom of the plane, under everything.

But unlike regular airplanes, pets will not be in the cargo hold. The cargo hold is very stressful for pets. Alana, even though you are a baggage girl, you can’t /stay/ with the baggage. In the cargo hold, theres extreme conditions (the pet section has livable areas, heated and air conditioned)

we are stone age. we have books. our first nintendo was purchased last year. we have one. i see the kids on campus walking around with the things in their ears and not talking to anyone. I have also used a public restroom where the other user was on the phone. I do know that blog means web log, but still not sure about what it is. 🙂

I wish we had made it to our Dillards, they might have had a better selection than the southern one..
AND I misunderstood, I thought the 40% off applied .. differently, it was only on already permanently marked down items…
The lady told me they received a shipment of silversoft kitties… no charge for them, they were an overage… so.. they set the price at $8 and wouldn’t apply the discount 🙁 I caved anyway to get my little that kitty, she has wanted one for a while now

lil – I say go with the park hopper, it gets you in all of them and if you just do half a day at the kingdom and want to go to the african place you can.
We did not add the water parks they have as only dh would have done them. We stayed at the contemporary and watched fireworks every nite. it was so much fun. hmmm – maybe we should all meet up there??

park hopper is GREAT! well worth the $ if you are buying multiple days – that way if Spectromagic parade is at MK one night or Fantasmic at Hollywood Studios one night, you aren’t stuck having to go to that park during the day if it isn’t the best day to go to the park

oompa – the halloween party is supposed to be AMAZING! that is the only party each year that the disney cast members do not get to attend for free, and they all still buy those tickets because it is so great . . .
we did an extra party in march a couple of years ago – pirate & princess, and it was worth every dime! we got to ride so many rides with no lines that it was so worth it, plus we saw the special fireworks show and parade – the lines for the rides made it worth it for us though big time . . .

Also, I guess some touristy places in the south include Myrtle Beach, Atlanta (Coca Cola Factory!!), Caoe Hatteras!, and Disney World/Sea World Orlando!
I would highly recommend the great smoky mountains national park, it is very close to dollywood, and you could do both of them. I visited the Smoky Mountains four days ago, and it was amazing. There was a hike up to some gorgeous waterfalls, and sometimes you can spot black bears! Also near the smoky mountains, I went white water rafting (awesome), and wanted to go ziplining (they have some marvelous ziplines there), but we ran out of time before I had to fly back home to california….

Dee- Also the smoky mountains are on the border of TN and NC. We crossed over a few times, and I stood in both states at once! I also found a very neat rock about ten yards away from the Great Smoky mountains national park, so you could spend a few hours looking at those rocks. I also crossed a stream before my mom got scared that I would fall…

Dee, I saw absolutely NO webkinz stores in the area, although the town of Pigeon Forge (right next to the Smokies) is built up so much, and has like five mini golf courses, a whole lotta amusement parks (including Dollywood), and a lot of independently owned rides. I really wish I could go REAL camping for once, but my mother won’t even let me go with my dad and uncle, because she is afraid something will attack us! Not very nice of her. She also won’t let me go fishing and won’t let me surf!

Alana- Nevada sounds fun, but only in the Reno and Las Vegas Areas. Some great Amusement parks in Vegas, like that Stratosphere one on top of a Skyscraper. Also, Vegas hotels sound amazing like Caesar’s Palace and the Bellagio (whose casino looks amazing!)

Alana- The only really exciting parts of Nevada include the Reno and Las Vegas Areas. I really like the amusement parks in Vegas, especially the Strosphere, which is on top of a skyscraper. Also the Vegas hotels are REALLY nice, like Caesar’s Palace, and the Bellagio (whose casino is really fancy and looks like you could make some serious money!)

Would it help if your mom knew I was a girl scout leader and then you could come with? From what I hear, we do rough it. Not all the backpack in stuff, but sleeping on dirt, no toilets, showers, and all that we can do. When we moved back to the continental US, we were amazed that the campgrounds had flush toilets!
dh and I met in CA and were married in Reno. How funny is that?
Our main cat is from Paradise CA. So he is quite laid back.
I will let you know what I come up with.

I agree it is very pretty.
My dh retired and we got to pick where we were to live. We picked this area. No family, no friends….just like the area, cost of living and colleges. Thanks for all the info tho, and I will get some library books to finish my research. Sorry, but you will be soooo jealous of our trip. Like I said…you can join. Poor cat, we lived in AR for awhile and I drove thru OK. Sorry, but it is reallly difficult not to speed thru OK. I had a sleeping baby in the back and was bored to tears. I had thought South Dakota was bad!
It was better once we got to OKC and then on to Wichita Falls. More to look at from the highway. You so need to see an ocean. They are pretty impressive and vary from where you see them (maine vs florida, california versus alaska)

I do believe that traveling makes you appreciate your home so much more. Some people live to travel and see, others like to hunker down. I have traveled a lot. Now I want to stay put. Have a yard and garden, know my neighbors, maybe even get a dog for goodness sakes. All the “little” things that some folks take for granted.

Dee, the east part of the state and west are WAY different. West – no trees, no water, extremely flat (thats where i live) and the East – trees, water, hilly/mountainous! 😉 LOL So yeah it is boring, but I love the small town atmosphere! 🙂

Catlover- There is a local cowboy working for a historic state park I volunteered for, and he was a cowboy in Oklahoma and actually branded his cows! It sounded like a fun life… Although, the only landlocked state I really love is Tennessee.
Alana- I have been to California (obviously), Nevada, Utah (Salt Lake City Airpot only), Tennessee, North Carolina, Arkansas (drove through on a bus only), Texas (for a wedding only), Florida (Miami Airport Only for a six hour layover), Mississippi (to visit relatives for three hours), Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire (a quick drive from Boston to Maine), Rhode Island, Chicago (O’Hare Airport only), and Michigan (Detroit Airport Only). Wish I could actually get out of airports sometimes 😉 So that makes a grand total of 15 states, 8 of which I have actuially spent the night at.

Also, I have traveled a lot to Tennessee, Greensboro and Charlotte (NC), Lubbock (Texas), drove through Arkansas, Boston, various rhode island cities, Portsmouth (NH), and various Maine cities, along with all those airports, and obviously CA, and an area near Reno NV every year. Also I have visited England and Scotland twice, France, and Japan, (a lot of traveling for someone my age) and I still don’t like my home….

Catlover- NEVER! Wow, I love traveling to different countries. You should take the next chance you get to go explore some of the world. I have come withing twenty miles or so of Canada, in the Detroit Airpot, and eighty miles in Augusta, Maine. I have also been within Sixty Miles of Mexico in San Diego.

Nuug – My family and I are NOT big travelers at all! My parents have only left the country once and that was LAST YEAR to Cancun, Mexico. My Dad never saw the ocean till he was 35! 80 So consider yourself VERY lucky to have been able to travel to such awesome places! 😉 Trust me, if I get the oppurtunity to travel – i’ll take it!

Flow – I know. My math teacher talked to me like I was dumb, I was one of the best in his class! Hmph! *looks all snooty*. I got all A’s in his class! So he needs to get a life. Don’t mess with me! LOL.
I loved my social studies teacher tho, he gave me two A+s’ and a 99. And he was nice to me. He was bipolar tho, so he would flip out at someone if they asked if they could go get an extra pencil from their locker or something. LOL! It was hard not to laugh, because if you were sitting by someone who got yelled at a lot (I sat next to this kid on my bus, he get’s yelled at A LOT), he would be looking over there, so you’d just have to put your hand over your mouth and pray that he wouldn’t see you laughing. xD LOL. If he caught you laughing, detention and a long yelling speech. 😯 It’s unpleasant. At least that’s what my friend told me. LOL

yeah gramma… the KC is good just selling all my strawberries, if I had a better net connection I would have more yards filled with just strawberries. The hunger points from feeding the garden foods aren’t significant, you have to feed them a LOT so I sell the garden food and buy their favs instead.. better KC and better hunger points 🙂 I learned that on this blog shortly after I started here

Most my jeans were $20-$30, but I have them like forever. NY&Co. has good sales tho’ and my last pair were less than $20, with free shipping.
My dock needs a thorough cleaning out and organizing. I panicked the first round of things ‘retiring’ since I’ve been here. One reason I’m mostly broke all the time is because I keep buying more and more and more of my favorite things in fear of them retiring. 😥

Maybe ‘hoarding’ wasn’t quite the right word; maybe it is. What I’m doing is buying and buying lots of my favorite clothes, furniture, etc out of fear it will be retired and I won’t be able to buy more if I want it. I use to just buy what I needed, when I needed it; furnish a room, dress a webbie, done. Retiring some of the clothes and room themes set off something in me I guess. ex. I buy the chef shirt every time it shows up in the curio shop. 🙄

Everytime I put try to make a change in my apperance, like instead of the average graphic shirt and jeans/capris. Patsie- The state does is so like clothes and shoes under $100 have no tax. Its kinda for back to school shoppings and it REALLY gets people out to buy most people like to wait to buy. But i rather get the BEST selection. And I hate shopping with a lot of people around

Oh on vacation I saw a girl in gymboree she was like 12, she was shorter than me, EVEN IN HER HIGH HEEL BOOTIES! And her skinny jeans were too long, they ruched too much at the bottom. That just annoys me, and her mother looked like trash.. igh. Look what your daughter is wearing. And her hair was just in a ponytail with an orange elastic. If she was older she would of looked half way decent if it was WINTER she was dressed for WINTER
