my favorite summer trip – a trip to the beach two years ago – we arrived in the evening, and we took a walk on the beach, the children ran straight to the waves to walk along the edge of the ocean and laughed those wonderful baby belly laughs as the waves touched their feet . . . we all ended up soaked fully clothed after chasing waves, kicking waves, and feeling completely carefree ♥

I guess I would have to say my favorite summer vacation would have to be when I went to the UK and France. I saw almost everything in London and Paris, the cities where my parents grew up, and some of Scotland. Plus they have great food!

I loved the vacations to Wildwood Crest when the kids were young. The beach is so long, you never have to worry about the undertoe.
But more recently, when my granddaughter was about 5 years old, we took a trip to see “Disney on Ice with the Princesses”, the look on her face when Cinderella waved to her was priceless. We spent the weekend at Hershey and had a ball. I will never forget how excited she was to see all the Princesses.

One of my fav summer trips was when me and my family went ‘mudin’ (got the jeeps, 4-wheelers, etc, and well just drove through all these huge mud piles. there’s a little river (well whenever its not dried up lol) and all the dirt around is RED, so the water is like a murky dark brown/red color!) We swam in it (not that its more than 2 & 1/2 feet deep anywhere) we were all dirty, covered in mud, and it was 11 o’clock when we got back to the cloest town, and we ate at Burger King. The people in BK sure thought we were rednecks!!! With my dad and uncle in cutoffs and tank tops, tatoos showing, sunburned……..lol I see why they thought we were rednecks! And hey we are! 😉 Never deny that!! 😛 Ahh what a good time!

I just got down making my Grandpa a birthday card. His b-day is Monday. I always make him a card, which he hangs up in his shop. This year I cut out letters from magazines and made the card!! 😀 Like the ‘I’m holding your kid for ransom’ type of letters! 😛 Hahahahahahaha, it looks awesome tho!!

I swim in my neighborhood pool and thats dirty enough for me. (okay its never busy at all. Even on the 4th of July at 12pm, no one was there) Let alone the lake by us, you can’t even go swimming in because the bacteria level is too high!

Vacation story continued:
We booked our motel room on line, it included a complete breakfast and an indoor swimming. She was so amazed that we could go swimming in the motel.
Another plus for the great place we stayed. It rained one afternoon and we found the greatest store the had toys and painting ceramics in the back. She painted a butterfly dish which I still have on my shelf. What a great vacation souvenir!

Cat- OH! LOL. Hmm, well then, I’d say.. last year was my favourite, because I got to spend 10 days with my best friend I haven’t seen in YEARS.. We had soooo much fun, with her little sisters too. We swam,, played games and had a blast. Then I went to my mom’s friend’s house and stayed with him for 2 weeks, then went to my grandparents’ house and stayed with them for 4 days, and played with their dog Finnegan, and their new puppy Annie. After more time with my mom’s friend, I flew back to my house and did a LOT of summer camps.
Every single year I go to my hometown (I moved 6 years ago) and I visit all my old best friends, family, and other friends. It’s quite amazing. Oh, and I always buy a ton of stuffed animals on my adventures ;),

The trip was…….ok, long but ok, not bad weather and the end prize is worth it 🙂
My mom is home, not as crabby tonight as she was this morning… my sister pulled a nasty on me.. really ticked me off… she is sleeping downstairs the past two nights which puts a damper on things as well

I am sorry, but she was talking about giving all us great stuff like buying me a manicure set and then she buys us all dollar store snowmen and santa clauses plushes. and she gives me a barbie nail polish that you buy at the dollar store. LL- It is very difficult to find the fairy. It is kinda easier to open
2-4 screens of the estore and keep pressing F5 (refreshing) until you see a

If my theory about the WOW (aka Wheel of 20 kc) is correct then the wing tip shoes and the kilt are both part of KSo clothes recipes.
Ii have this theory that the clothes they give (not including the clogs) are all part of clothes recipes.
i have not figured out if I am righ yet. I tired several combinations with the kilt to get the seaside sarong with no luck. It really burns up the kc trying to do recipes (clothes or food).

Question…if you invite someone over to your webbie house, can their webbie ‘play’ on things in your house? suuuuuuuuup guys?? 8) our alarm has been on the blink. it says “bat” so i guess the battery is low? so my fil came out & they worked on it for a while. (well they changed the battery.) HOWEVER, it still says bat. 😯 THE PROBLEM IS it goes off at midnight, 4am all times of the night. Flowing- Okay, If your hair is just below the shoulder the ‘bun’ be smaller-But to actually get like that you would twist it around & pull it through the center almost like a knot then pin very well securing some of the anchor pins in an X(this makes them) hold better-Also Spray your hair lightly before you twist.

Like I got the real stuff at Christmas once. It smelled really good. Bet that perfume was $50. Then found the same smelling stuff, I think the real kind I got was ‘Fantasy’ by Britney Spears, and I got ‘Fantastic’ knock off of Britney’s ‘Fantasy’ for only 5 bucks at Cato! Smelled the same tho.

I have some perfume from Aveda I got for free because I signed up for their birthday club and I never shopped but then I got a coupon because I hadn’t bought anything (I NEVER bought anything) for a perfume that you go in the store and you sniff them and they blend that scent with their solution

They have an amusement park, thats just like any other amusement park but still. And theres decent shopping. 2 good outlets and a couple malls (theres an Ulta at one mall!)

Okay here is my ulimate vacation
The wind blows my hair into my hair, I just wish I put enough hairspray in that morning. My feet are absorbed by the sand every step I make. Wild bunnies jump around, nibbling at whatever they can find. I threw goldfish at them and none of them eat it so I start to yell. They are hungry, but they do not eat. My anger startles everyone on the beach. Heads are turned as I continue to walk on the beach. Nothing is good to stop me. Not a seagull happening to poo on my shouder. As the wind continues to blow my hair sticks to my lip gloss. When I sit on the sand and rub my fingers through the sand it totally messes up my manicure.

No, it is set-up downstairs and a complete breakfast, all your can eat, is included. They also have coffee and hot chocolate all day and night.
Hubby is home and doing Great, thank you for asking.
I am on the diet with him. Eating and staying on a special diet together is easier then making him do it alone. He is a diabetic.

we go to the same beach/island every year. the first year we went. when we were walking down the beach. there were crabs running down the beach too. BIG ones (or medium at least) so we all would run after them laughing & chasing them!! dh even made up a song for the whole thing!! Good morning! I don’t think I ever made a comment saying that I DID get the job on Saturday! They asked me to come back today so I’ll be working from 9 to 5, but maybe later! 😀 It’s so nice to be working again, if only it’s odd hours here and there. Adds a little more jingle to our pockets, which is always good!

I would have to say my most memorable summer vacation would be the last one we had with my Moms mother. We went to Myrtle Beach and had a WONDERFUL time. We always went every year in August, but it just seemed extra special that summer. It ended up being our last vacation with Maw Maw ever because soon after that she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and didn’t make it until the next summer. Boy, do I sure miss her!

Could those of you that pray please say a prayer for all the lobster fishermen (DH included) this morning. Today is the last day for them to land the rest of their gear and the winds are quite high. High wind and sloppy seas makes it dangerous when they have close to 200 lobster pots on the deck of the boat. 🙁 I’ve been very worried all morning.
