Let’s warm up for the super special birthday celebration that we are planning for the weekend with a Pet Code comment contest!

One lucky winner will win a Webkinz Parakeet Pet Code!  The parakeet will allow you to purchase a Treetop Room and comes with the fabulous Flying High Hideaway Chair psi.

Rules:

Be nice & polite.
4 word minimum on your comments.
Add momsownkinz in WW just in case I decide to send treats along the way.
Contest ends at 1,000 comments or 8 AM Saturday, whichever comes first.
Use the email address in your comments where you would like to receive the code.
Number of comments might be a factor in determining the winner . . .

    I really really really wish we had a Justice close by! I want to get the Small Sig Fox and probably Rainbow Armidillo. But after getting a normal webbie for $9-ish, and a Sig for almost normal price of a webbie at Justice – I just can’t go back to paying shipping and handling!! 😐 Hmm what to do, what to do? We won’t be going back to the city with a Justice till Summer (most likely). There is a restaurant my dad and i really want to go in that city….Hmm….And we have a 4 day weekend next week….Hmmm! LOL.

    JR jhas been getting into Farmville and Petville on FB, so I see him check his webkinz account for daily activities and then ask me to log him into FB. I have next to nothing personl ther. No pictures, no nothing. But, he says they are free games that have new things almost daily. He is right. The FB games have free games and itmes added for almost every holiday. Ganz is trying with the Gohost, Ms. Birdy and Leprechaun, but fromthe mouth of my 8 year old. “All the good new stuff is estore and if you don;t have money to spend, you don;t get new things in WK.” Hmmmm.

    He stil loves his webkinz tho’ At eight, he still takes one to bed, like it’s a real pet.

    I feel the same way about venues for music. I used to be a pretty good drummer. Gave it up when all my band mates started abusing drink and dr-gs.

    I loved the small clubs that were all around Washington, DC. I have not really discoverd any place here in NC to see live music in the setting I would like. I am sure they are around. When I moved, I thought “Oh no, only banjo concerts from now on.” My misperception about NC. …not to slam a good banjo player. πŸ˜‰

I wanted to let everyone that I play around with the e-commerce site from time to time and have built various test accounts with different zip codes to compare weight and itemized orders. I realized that the First Class shipping option was turned off. We do offer first class shipping. USPS takes any package First Class (with or without delivery confirmation) that weighs under two pounds. And First Class International operates a little differently. So for those who like to buy one Webkinz at a time, this might be a better alternative for you now. Go check it out. Again, I cannot stress enough that e-mailing me on an order is the way to go if you uncertain of what you are seeing. I can’t see what you’re getting for shipping costs, but I can check it manually so it’s possible the e-site is coded a little off. It never hurts to ask.

    And to Post #114 (sorry, I don’t like to refer to people by usernames. I never had. I’m not into a social networking atmosphere. I call people by their real names if I know them or refer to posts) – good news for you since you were wondering why there aren’t more dinosaurs for the male Webkinz audience. The Stegosaurus will be available for ordering on Monday, provided that Ganz does not switch their future release rosters around at the last minute. I also hear there should be a few other dinosaurs by the end of the year. I’m thinking Parasaurolophus will be one since I’ve heard Ganz toss that idea around – it’s the dinosaur with the horn-shaped crest on its head.     The TR is hit or miss with mostly miss. I do not trade with JR’s valuable items, so it has been rough going for me. I find about 1 or 2 really nice people for every 4 – 5 meanies in the TR. It requires a lot of time & patience. I hear if you offer great stuff you get great offers back.. eventually.

So, later in the day i made the suggestion to ganz to make the webkinz donkey. Once I heard they were making one, i laughed. We made my whole family laugh so hard, it was hilarious.     Hopefully we will be getting a full order on this Armadillo. Ganz has been known to short orders when something goes into quick retirement or sells out before the its ordering month is over. I can think of many that we never received full shipment on – Signature Dutch Bunny, Ribbon Unicorn, actually most of the Signatures, the Black and White Cheeky Dog, the list goes on.

    One thing I will say is I think Ganz tries to pick a star seller out of each release set, barring Signatures. Up until March, all Signatures sold out within about two weeks of being available to order. I’m thinking Ganz has rethought their production values and is making more Signatures than regular-sized Webkinz, intentionally. I don’t know who is who that makes the star seller, but the one that sells out first usually has a smaller production value. So that would be the Dazzle Dachshund, Ferret, Triceratops (which already retired as it is), Baby Penguin, Citrus Dragon, etc. – there’s my warning again. Although products aren’t necessarily harder to find if they retire. This is not like Ty was. I miss those days…

    I imagine the scrapped Lil’ Kinz Blue Parakeet would have also been a popular plush as well. I’m still trying to look for prototype designs on the internet. Sometimes we are exposed to prototype ideas and designs that had a different look or were never released. It’s illegal to sell prototypes, but concept art or photographs are always nice to look at.

    Post 217 – Small Signature Webkinz, to be honest, were not the best idea. I only say that because they continue to produce the original Signature Webkinz. It should be one or the other. I compared the Beagle to some of the regular general Webkinz and it might be smaller. I remember the Bottlenose Dolphin being one of the longer/larger Webkinz from ordering form attributes, and while it’s a nice concept and all, they do cost retailers more than regular Webkinz so by default retailers have to charge a little more.

    And as nice as most Signature styles are, Ganz should concentrate on new Webkinz altogether instead of rehashes. The Calico Cat and the Cheetah and the Dutch Bunny are what I mean. The new Yorkie will be fine too since Ganz was not aware of what a real one looked like (the white Yorkie Webkinz technically should have been a Maltese instead). But the rest seem overdone.

    Yep, Ty was my heyday… I started back when I was 12. That was my generation. I’m sure if I was a kid today I would like the Webkinz as well. Everybody has their own collectible. Thankfully Webkinz lines and customers were never as violent as the Ty days are. You remember a lot things from when you were a kid, and I remember a lot of pushing, shoving, and street brawls over Beanie Babies and the like. No joke.

    If you think Ganz doesn’t hear or care what too many of their collectors and fans say, think about how they feel about the retailers, haha. Whether or not Ganz accepts an idea from someone, they claim it as their own since you submitting your idea or suggestion as consent for them to use it in any manner they see fit.

    Same thing when I used to suggest Beanie Baby concepts to my mom’s Ty rep. He laughed. And told me “You don’t want to know what goes on behind closed doors…” He’s right. I still don’t.

    I just received the list of Series 3 Zumbuddy. We’ll see if this turns out to be true or not. They are supposed to be all new colors, though I don’t know what colors or who goes with what. They should be available for ordering on Monday.

    Their names are Zala, Zap, Zavi, Zaza, Zeb, and Zorth. I was told one will be green. I always get conflicting reports, and half the time it’s true and the other half the time it’s not.

    Dance was . . . boring. We had to dance at the highschool, UGH it was so boring, no one got what they were supposed to do, so we spent like 30 minutes of class standing up on the hot stage (from the lights) and wait until that person got it. πŸ™„ And a demon that I call my teacher was all mad.     well honestly i had A LOT of practice before i knew what WW was KG. so it didn’t bother me if i lost for a week or 2! LOL i was doing it for the challenge & to help the kids out. i had to sit while i nursed my baby butterbean, so it was a win win for me. till it sucked me in that is! 😳

    dear webkinz world: i just celebrated my one year anniversary with webkinz world. over the past year i really became attached to webkinz and i love the holiday and seasonal festivities. (i wish there were more!) but, i’m also very disenchanted. firstly because webkinz has chosen to go more and more virtual. i don’t see any value in spending money on virtual items with no physical counterpart. even more so that the items aren’t tradeable. secondly, webkinz seems to be trying to flood the market with new webkinz plushes that have limited availability. and the price point keeps getting higher and higher. while i once thought that i’d play webkinz for years to come, i know that if things continue the way they are, my time with webkinz is short at hand. please keep webkinz reasonably priced and don’t neglect the physical items that we can collect. i’d rather have a real christmas tree full of webkinz ornaments than a computer screen all dolled up with no place to go.

    I like moms suggestion that those who have invested in MANY plushies, like over 50.. 100 somewhere in there… be given the deluxe membership…

    I just had a thought that the estore could also reward those with plushies (Dad’s idea that every plushie come with X estore points, is great!) but also every 10 pets or 5 pets.. you adopt you achieve a collector level and can shop for this level of items at the estore and use kinzcash.. so those who are investing real money in their too many plushies are not punished for it

    not a peep from my hubby, crazy πŸ™ he had a card to be able to use the computer too but I think that other guys that share the house where he has been living are also keeping it on and his MSN is set to auto login so that he can’t log in at the hospital.. though I still think an email would work… πŸ™
