Fabric Friends & Dolls – New ecommerce site

Hello everyone,
The new e-commerce site for Fabric Friends & Dolls is finally ready to launch. It takes a long time to get these things going, and while it’s not entirely complete and many more new products need to be added on a day-to-day basis in the weeks, I feel that it is enough to get it going. All of the Webkinz products, Zumbuddy, accessories, etc. are updated and available to order. Some other product lines still need work.
The link to the site is http://www.fabricfriendsdolls.com/, so it is the same as our other site without “excitewebpages” in the URL. We will, however, be retaining both web sites. The original one is for about us and who we are, and to provide information on in stock products, as well as future releases. Both will be updated day-to-day. This is an ongoing project as always. As I stated before, we have taken some of the suggestions in building this site through your ideas on Gymbo’s Blog, to make it more convenient for you. PayPal users will be happy to know that they can now contact us for purchases. Other ideas have been incorporated as well.
Please read all instructions on the web site including Shipping & Returns, Privacy, and (Terms &) Conditions so that you fully understand and comply with the rules and regulations for using our site. We will not be responsible for any orders placed in error, and once an order has been submitted, it is finalized, so please consider all of this very carefully. Again, if you choose not to use this site, you may contact my mother or me directly with your order. This is just an alternative for those who prefer to use it through this medium, as well to help international users who do not have the liberty of finding Webkinz products so easily. The site is very easy to use.
I like how you can check out what the cost of shipping and handling before you order.
The shipping and handling for me is $8.60 which is too much for one item, but I found I can get several items and the S&H doesn’t go up.

Major congrats, Toby!! The kinzstyle is fun.
I won a kinzstyle item in the last webkinz day events. I chose the rainbow shirt and blouse. I ended up giving that item to one daughter and the other item I chose to the other daughter.
The clothing is nicely made but way too expensive. We look when they are on the clearance racks.

Hi, and thanks. I hope this benefits everyone who wants to use it.
I did want to make a few small comments from what I read on here. Read what you want. I know I write a lot. For those who are interested, this information will be of use.
If you feel that the shipping may be a little too high or off, I will explain. Some of the algorithms that I had to plug into the system to correct shipping weight, package taring, etc. might be slightly off still. This is very important I repeat this (someone out there in TV Land didn’t catch it I’m sure) – PLEASE CONTACT ME, MY MOM (either of us) if you have an order and would like for us to check on A MANUAL shipping. We’ll take it directly to USPS and see how it balances out.
I have to be honest – since her business is primarily a doll business, some of the shipping and handling features were based around dolls as the core merchant products. That’s why it may seem a little unusual for some of the prices to be so high. But as some of you have mentioned, yes, when you add more products, the shipping balances out around the same. It’s all coordinated based on the weight, not the price or number of units in your basket. A Kinz Klip, for example, weighs virtually nothing, so adding that to a prior Zumbuddy or Signature order should make absolutely no difference in shipping. But, there are probably some issues with the site (go figure), and now you know why it took so long to launch in the first place. So again… you want to place an order. You are uncomfortable with the output you see on the e-commerce site. E-mail me, right here: fluffball05@comcast.net, this would be the address and I will communicate with you to compare shipping to what the site says. Do not be afraid, I don’t bite until after midnight….
Also, more good news for you folks I imagine. All new Webkinz are back down to $12.99 each. I’ve been told Ganz may be dropping some of the price points on Webkinz products for our retailers, as our faithful friend the economy has another three and a half years of winter. I don’t know if that will affect the Signatures, Zumbuddy, or other product lines. We like to be fair, so there you go.
May ordering begins the upcoming Monday. I’ll let you know if there are any new holiday styles announced, pictures of Stegosaurus and Blueberry Cheeky Dog, other relevant updates, etc. Don’t forget, Zumbuddy Series 3 is available for order on Monday as well (it’s been three months) – and I heard this time they’re not the same colors. I think a green one is on the way. Talk soon. I’ll check back later if you all have anymore questions for me to answer. Thanks!

When dh was working he had to get up at 5:30am; I got up earlier than him for quiet time with my coffee and note pad, making lists. The girls kept us hopping in the evenings with activities, so dinner had to be early. Even tho’ dh is retired, I’m still on the same schedule; except instead of making to do lists, I’m doing ww, email, and catching up the blog while I have my coffee. LOL

Morning everyone.
We suppose to get SNOW tonight!! π₯ One channel says 1-4 inches while the other says 4-8 inches!! π Then Thurs we should get to 50 degrees, Friday = 60 degrees, Sat = Cold, more SNOW, Sun = 40’s, 50’s, and Mon and Tues next week = 70! π Ugh! Going from beautiful to awful weather over night is just physically and emotionally draining! And its also very depressing to go from sunglasses and capris to bundled up the next day!! Yuck Yuck and YUCK!!! π
