Tunneling Twigzy, Candy Leopard, & more PART 1

During this morning’s maintenance, Ganz added a new Arcade Game to Webkinz World called Tunneling Twigzy.

The first time you finish the game you get a trophy.  It can only be won once, and can’t be traded or sold.  Helpful information to playing this game:

Planning a route and dodging the tough brown blocks is the key to success. When you dig through a colored block that is connected to many of the same colored blocks, all of the like-colored blocks are destroyed. Use this to your advantage as you move down through the tree by paying attention to large clumps of like-colored blocks and changing your dig path to move through the clumps. Not only will this speed up your progress most of the time, it will also award bonus points!

 

Here is a summary of today’s updates from Webkinz Newz:

  • Tunneling Twigzy: As the courageous caterpillar Twigzy, players must dig through a tree trunk to reach the ultimate party pad located towards the bottom of the trunk in this brand new Arcade game.
  • New Recipes: Diligent chefs will be able to find two new stove recipes, two new sandwich maker recipes, and one new blender recipe!
  • Bug Fixes: We’ve fixed a few bugs around Webkinz World, as well, including some text display issues in the Webkinz Stadium and navigation issues in the Travel Agency.

    • Ganz has announced a new estore pet:  The Candy Leopard sports its spots with pride! Yellow, blue, and green, this pet is a candy-coated dream! It should come as no surprise that the Candy Leopard has a sweet tooth: it loves to bite down on a Jellybean Burrito before sneaking another snack tucked away in its Candy Counter Fridge. Watch out for the Candy Leopard exclusively in the Ganz eStore soon.

      seems you just have to dig as fast as you can and get to the energy boxes without getting squashed.. I was trying to figure out a strategey to get the most boxes but I don’t think that is it… O.o

      I’ve been looking for the rares in the wrong place. I usually click Item Picture Gallery. Clicked the actual rare schedule and see the bed is still at 6; wonder what’s going to be at 5?

      Does anyone have an extra vanity stool from the princess theme for trade? I wasn’t interested when the theme was first introduced, but was picking up some pieces anyway, minus the stool. Once they offered the bed, I was sold. Not sure which lovely webbie is going to get the room yet. OH!! moms, did you try the ancient floor with the princess things yet?

      The room is symbolic rather than actual, obviously. The science pieces are representing the Potions class; plants represent Herbology; the crystal ball represents…that crazy tea leave reading lady whose name and class escape me at the moment.

      Thanks!! Once the idea took root, I added a Hogwarts wing onto the webbie house. Most of those webbies were bought specifically to fill the roles of the HP characters. Tonks and Buckbeak aren’t in the picture, but they’re part of that group also.

      my webbie house is mostly like a regular house. Then by using yards I’ve spread it out and added various businesses for the webbies to run, and also the HP wing. I’ve got too many projects going on at once right now. My poor sig German Shepherd is sleeping in a tent in the classroom. 🙁 Ginny Ginger Cat is bunking with Noel Peppermint Pup. Essie Mocha Pup and her sister Lottie Tawny Pup have been sitting up visiting with LauraLee Mud Hippo for a week or more. Savanna Sig Cheetah will be opening a B&B/boarding house soon, so one day there will always be a room with an empty bed for a new arrival. In the meantime…well two of the webbies are architects; it would be very helpful to me if they could actually work on the designs for all these additions. LOL

      Gramma – nice to see you (although I missed you). Great HP room! Very creative.

      I really like the PSI for the Candy Leopard, but please RUSH that pet to Dr. Quack!! I hope whatever it’s got isn’t contagious!

      I can’t wait until I can stink at the new game. I bet I can get to level two before the end of the week. 😉 How many levels are there for the trophy? maybe JR will be good at it.

      kinzgram, not sure about bigger payoffs.

      as far as twigzy, try eating side to side as well as down. when blocks are going to fall on top of you, they will ‘stick’ to a block of the same color on the way down–so you can try to strategize that way. otherwise, eat to the side before it squashes you. i think in the post it say to try to eat big groups of blocks to help navigate. but, truly, i found the game difficult and frustrating.
