I joined Webkinz June (2008) and I think I found this site in Dec/January 2009! I remember the Sanatkinz thing but I didn’t know how to comment! I just read the info you had here, I assumed you had to sign up or something to comment, then one day I realized maybe I could comment to! LOL. I wonder when I made my first post???

I think I am approaching a one year here and the WW experience for my girls and I went bang zoom to the moon and beyond because of this great blog and the wonderful people here… this blog made WW even more fun and exciting and worthwhile π

Hello Gymbo and congrats on two years. Thanks to you, momskinz, tmt, cocomac and lets not forget Gina (scratchie) who was here all the time a year ago. Where are you Gina tenbuck? Merry Christmas and thanks to the wonderful admins! And thanks to all those of you that have posted as admin helpers this year!
I wonder how many people are like me that found the site with a google search for webkinz information, and read the blog for months before ever being bold enough to comment. I think I found the site last year around November looking for Woodland Wonder information, but I thought this was an exclusive group. I thought you had to be asked to join and comment, or be invited by a member. π Then JR and I read your blog for new pictures and information for months before I ever tried to enter a comment or contest. My first comment was a post by mistake. π³ I think I emailed you in Feb or March to ask if a GUY (an adult dad) could comment here. Since then I have had so much fun and made such wonderful friends.
A year ago December, I remember seeing the admins, Alisha, Kinzgram, ET, Naki, Flowiing, myprints and aanp. I am sure that there were many like Tarah & milliemay that were here then that we don’t see very often any more.
So, if you are an outside reader and you have googled in and read this long comment… PLease make a comment and join a fun, fantastic, generous group of webkinz lovers. Don’t just read the information here, but be bold and make a comment. Introduce yourself. You will be glad you did. π

I found this website shortly after I started with Webkinz. That was March 2008, so it must have been that summer when I first started reading things. I didn’t comment for a very long time. I didn’t know I could. I thought I had to be a member. So glad I found all of you. I’ve made so many good friends…especially BoogieMom…(BIG HUG!!!) Thanks for all you do, especially Gymbo!

In middle school there were quite a few rumors spreading, though one of the rumors last year possibly saved the life of a teacher and many other students. Now in high school the rumors spread like wildfire!

Alana~ Well thats what those adorable creatures are. Not sure if i want one though, they seem cute, and on the news they just said that they dont pose a health risk like originally thought. I think im a bit old for them and they seem t be near impossible to find in stores, if i got one it would probably just sit on my dresser looking cute, then i would feel guilty that i am too old to play with it and i couldve just left it in the store for someone else to get for their child and it would be played with.

Hey guys… yeah at the beginning I didn’t have an email but when my mom made an extra one for me I used it (& still do even tho I have my own) but then my mom found out that I had a WI account and that it had forums so I had to leave, but I kept going on it, and my mom caught me on it. Shamu~ Oh it does snow there but rarely! I went there to visit my grandma in late Dec. early Jan. 07 and the last 3 days i was there it dropped down in the 30s and the last day it was lightly snowing, but of course it didnt stick. I have been there many times before

I hate Michigan whether, but i guess i shouldnt be complaining, the other side of the state got hit hard the other day and are in for alot more snow tonight, they get alot of lake effect snow on the other side of the state.

Shamu~ Yes, it does, rarely, but yes. I was visiting about an hour south of Orlando and it was snowing there. Places in the south get hit with snow sometimes. Texas got hit hard with it the other day. Usually when it does snow in FL you only see ti falling, the ground is too warm for it to stick.

Snow days… love them! We had 3 of them last year, and i think there were 1 or 2 cold days last year. we are only allowed 5 snow/cold days a year before we have to start making them up in the summer.

JD~ for us it has to be below -15 for a cold day, and it depends on how fast the roads get cleared for a snow day, they dont just look at how much snow there is at the time school with start, they also look at how much snow there would be when it gets out, if the buses cant get through, there is no school.

No snow days here! Not that it snows in AZ, but even if it snowed three feet, my dd would still have school. Now, if the house caught on fire, we would take a day off (actually, it did, and we took about a week off). We also take birthdays off. Poor kids have no excuse when you go to school at home.

Up here in canada, in the city i live in, even if it gets to -30 celcius we still have school! it’s ridiculous. awful weather lately.
At my old town in canada, somewhere furthur east, we have snow days if it even snowed overnight , cause i lived in the countryside and took a 30 minute school bus into a nearby town for my french immersion, as my city didn’t have any french schools…

totally! chococat… I got it because of the touch of the keys, I crushed my hands during a seizures way way back before FFQ was born, lol so I need a light touch or end up in more pain than usual and no fun trying to have fun when the fun makes the pain more… O.o they had black or this pink.. the pink was also more fun than the black AND it is the color for Avon so it was an easy decision π
