Fall Fest Art Contest
Hello Friends! Okay so last year I hosted an art contest here during Fall Fest, and I figure as long as you’re sitting there waiting for leaves you might as well be doing something! So draw, color, paint your best idea of Fall Fest. And you can start decorating those rooms too!
 
There will be 2 categories. Room Design and Drawing. You may draw your pictures on the computer or they can be scanned.
Email your entries to nakiwlover@gmail.com and I will pick a few winner for each category! Entried will be judged on the level of creativity, not the level of skill. Contest ends Friday at midnight!

Yay a contest! And i have a question.
I want to enter the drawing part of it the only problem is that i dont have a scanner. Would i be able to take a picture of my drawing with my cellphone? I dont have a camera so a cellphone is the closest i can get.

I got something cool in my MM search just now but I have no idea what it is or where… it only flashed on the screen for a moment.. it was round like a coin and had a spot of maybe red like a bow or something.. not positive.. I can’t find it in my dock though….

Howdy All!
It was a horrible day at work…but I came home to an email from JrsDad and all is now better. He sure knows how to brighten our days!
Here is a special message to all of you from JrsDad:
“If you go on Gymbo’s please let everyone know that I am fine, busy at work and that I say hello & howdy! I miss everyone there.”
Wasn’t that nice? He said that work has been crazy busy and that his weekends have been full of things to do with the family. He hopes to hop back on in the evenings and on weekends when things slow down. I know how much we all miss him.

Hola! I did my moms makeup. It didn’t look to bad!! I just my foundation brush (she doesn’t have one) and I used some makeup she bought a few months ago but never used on her and it works better than the cheapy ulta stuff. When I washed her face the white washcloth had barely anything on it (before I put it on)
The foundation (that was a tad too dark but I used some of my concealer to make it lighter, since its the 2nd lighest shade), lip gloss, and lipstick were all victorias secret. xD
Then I got some brown eyeliner and filled her eyebrows in. xD They looked better, just the brown was too dark.
So I figured out my moms birthday present- a brow pencil and some cream. ^^

If Norton is registered and still won’t run
then I would do a clean up of all your temp files with the
DISK cleanup under system tools .
after that is done – next step would be to defrag – even though
the message may say it is only partially fragmented do
the defrag regardless..

LL~ when it happened to me it was when i have just clicked the room, when you click a room the dock is visible for a few seconds while the loader lounger is there and that is when the leaf appeared.

cocomac, thank you for all the tips to treat my laptop. Starting with downloading the superantispyware, got hung up on the part about it sending a diagnostic; froze. Cleaning up temp files seemed to work; defrag froze. Norton, froze and I had to turn off machine; couldn’t X out of Norton. A windows message popped up during all this and said, in not so many words, you have a problem let us find and fix it; froze. I’ll attempt again from the beginning.

me again cocomac. The spyware is running a full scan. yippee! as for web surfing,I poke around a little; but I’ve only had the laptop less than 3 weeks. I bookmarked the pages I go to everyday; downloaded the trial Norton; downloaded Firefox and Adobe Flash Player. Dell recommended 47 drivers or some such thing, so I downloaded those. The only questionable thing I’ve seen pop up is on this site; some half dressed guy with big muscles which I immediately close.
I’ve yet to register the laptop at the Dell site, and have forms to fill out at Best Buy for my free Windows 7 upgrade that came with buying the laptop. It was acting so screwy and sloooow, I was afraid to attempt those things.
Spyware has already detected 20 threats. Do you use SpyBot as well? On this desktop our geek person(term used with the utmost respect) put Symantec, a Microsoft something, and SpyBot. I’ve been using Adaware for years, but something happened to it; need to start over.

I am out for a bit.. a few zzz like April…
we had to crate my sister’s pup since we were gone all day, but only then… I had a crate and started to use it for my one pup from the shelter but he cried and I gave in… lol… slept with us that night and was fine… the older pups helped potty train him fast… what a crazy dog though, very maternal for a male dog.. cute story… lol but he was not a young pup when I brought him home from the shelter… the only young pups I had were the poms, at that time and I made them a sort of crate like thingy… using boxes.. one was their sleeping area, one for eating, one for playing.. I miss my pups and my kitties… the family is not the same without them … I even will still think to myself and say to the girls .. don’t leave that… laying around the (insert pup or kitty) will get it.. or could be dangerous for them… something they should not eat.. but we want to stay in practice for when we can get a 4-legged critter… hehe

Here for a sec, I need a nap. cocomac, thank you sooo much for your help AND encouragement. One time my mom was showing me one of the fish and I was so freaked out by it that i chucked it clear accross the store! Everyone was so suprised at what I did that they all started busting up laughing! Thank goodness that they know me!

I think that the leaves are somewhat on a cycle, sometimes they fall every 6 mins. sometimes at random times. But we have to remember this is Ganz we are talking about, most things they do make no sense anway.

Ugh. I hate my math teacher. Its too much homework. And we get it EVERY night. He’s okay, I mean he’s funny sometimes but blah. -_- For our word problems we can do charts, pictures, or formulas. He isn’t focusing on our equation, just the answer. They wouldn’t want us to draw pictures in high school! Like in 4th grade, I got taught out to to the lattice multiplication method (drawing boxes to mulitply), and my teacher said we could do any method. So in 5th grade, my teacher wanted me to do the traditional method to multiply, because thats how I should do it. I could NOT do that method. I just can’t. And even though I learned to multiply years ago, I can not do the regular way.
I liked last years teacher better. I liked the one before EVEN better.
Last years teacher was mean, but I understood the stuff! I liked her teaching techniques.
The one before her was fun! He was nice. And he had good teaching techniques.

I got the same LA teacher from last year. I HATE HER! She hates the world!!! I never learned anything with her. We NEVER did anything fun. She would just read and do worksheets. Some people learn hands on. In other classes we may watch a video or do a FUN activity once a week. We watched half a movie one time in LA.
