   cocomac and Catlover, my less than 3 week old laptop is acting as tho’ it has a virus. Started moving like a snail to the point of being useless. Even Norton won’t work. I could spit. Only consolation is I’m not the only one. What are you doing to fix your laptop, coco? dh is talking about taking it in to have someone look at it.

   morning Gramma.
   My desktop was messed up for a couple of months until hubby took the time to fix it. now I’m so used to my laptop that I don’t want to go upstairs to use the pc 🙂
   I’ve heard a lot of friends having issues with their computers (viruses). wish I could help.

    I wish my laptop’s trouble was a virus.. it is Vista which is worse than a virus… and as it is a boot problem, hard to fix when it won’t boot

    The llama is quite cute. At a store today there was a buy one get one free of a small display of webkinz. I was liking the chocolate lab; my sister suggested getting two. They were looking right at me. I felt their eyes follow me as I walked away. Alright, that’s a stretch, but it really was hard to leave the store. I have my next three webbies picked out, gotta draw the line somewhere. So why can’t I get the chocos out of my mind. ack.

    Gymboutiques, I was loving the laptop itself and also not being tied to one spot. I was not at all happy with Vista or having to use IE. I managed to get Firefox downloaded/installed and anxiously await Windows 7(a free upgrade came with the purchase of the laptop). Then everything went kaplooey.

    L-O-V-E the llama totally, the plushie looks like a llama hopefully the virtual in motion will be as good, many times I don’t like the dock pet but the walk around is good

    Krafty, I ‘don’t’ have the chocolate labs; I left them in the store. *sob* I plan to get the Sig. Timberwolf, probably the Silver Soft Cat, and I’m looking for the Schnauzer. Also decided not to get the Opossum. There aren’t enough furniture choices to do all their rooms. I have three rooms done in the Country stuff from the Curio Shop. Two complete rooms of the Prairie Home(whatever it’s called) from the WShop and have used several pieces of it to fill in other rooms. woe is me.

    I was checking pictures and values, confused as ever. Even more than the exclusive stuff: 4 wh ATV, Gas Pump, or Go Kart(for which I would have to sweeten the pot above the table). I would LOVE to acquire the TC Series 2 Husky Poster. The side table was 3190kc. Near as I could tell, the poster is 1000-1500; maybe more since it’s older. Any chance you might have one to trade?

    I would download this and run 1st

    then try and run the norton scan – is the norton registered?
    Or was it a free trial that expired?
    If Norton is registered and still won’t run
    then I would do a clean up of all your temp files with the
    DISK cleanup under system tools .
    after that is done – next step would be to defrag – even though
    the message may say it is only partially fragmented do
    the defrag regardless..

    LMK how it works out for you…
