New Adoptions – Caterpillar, Rooster, Lava Dragon
We are celebrating new September adoptions! The children vetoed every name idea, so here is what I suggested and what the children chose to name the pets.Â
Caterpillar (my name ideas:Â Lima Bean, Bug Eyes)
Rooster (my name idea:Â Gymbob – because my Chicken is named Gymbo)
Lava Dragon (my name idea:Â Magma)
None of these pets came with newer exclusives, but we did at least get one Superbed box which is fantastic with the new Treehouse Hut Bed!

we were out at the new Pat Catans today when HE called to set up the pick up time for my little .. ruined it all, had to rush out. Got to see the sig cocker though, pretty pup, the virtual is too dark

krafty, I have all the exclusives — at least the newer once, I don’t need anthing, so I just keep on letting them add up. (I also had a glitch if you guys remember for a little while and some were used.) But this is one account that I have never actually used any of the tokens. It was a spare that I just do tokens and extras with lol.

I haven’t adopted any in a long time, but have been saving my Super Bed Box for something great. I picked up the new Tree Top bed this morning and I love it! Have to redesign my playground to make it fit in.

Food, bowls, crate, brush, towels (those paws need drying & it is nice to put one in the crate because it helps keep “accidents” from getting all over the puppy), toys, bed??? Crazy is right about Estore items.
If you buy the codes and then trade them with someone they are worth 1000 points per dollar spent. So like a 12.50 pet is worth 12500 points. But if you use the codes on your own account, you can’t trade them or kinzpost them. So sad! 🙁 That’s why no one ever mentions it.
You can trade and kinzpost the psi and psf’s however, but you can’t kinzpost or trade other estore items like the new dino slide.

donder, that’s kind of how I buy as well. Problem being, alot of what the estore has triggers a memory or has current significance that makes it all too tempting to give in. I haven’t had a hobby or interest outside the family for many years, that’s how I justify my splurges. LOL

yeah alisha, you need to wean him from their food to yours??? start cutting him/her? (cant remember) down off that food while mixing yours slowly into theirs?? (make sense??) also, get a good food, purina one is good (has meat as a first ingredient) rather than a corn meal… or pro plan is a good one…(can’t remember about science diet??)just make sure the first ingred. is meat!! 😉 hope this helps!! 😉

moms – Thanks for saying what food you have Millie on! Our pup will be coming with a bag of food to start her with but then I will be switching her over to something else. I’ve heard that you are supposed to do this gradually over a matter of 2 weeks, so we’ll see how that goes. 😀
I also found out that I could go pick her up on Friday instead of Saturday so I’m going to call the breeder and see if we can wait until Saturday to pick her up so that Justin and I can go together. 😀 Can’t wait!!

I am at work, but should be home in bed. Sorry to miss the great opportunity to chat this long weekend. I think the only way to describe how I feel is that I was visited by the “miserable, stuffy, yucky, head & stomach ache fairy”. Not sure what I have, just know I feel miserable. 🙁

Alisha – that’s great! I hear that Purina has a good, less expensive food option, too. As long as meat is the first ingredient instead of corn, you should be fine. Yes, use the bag of food to mix in gradually more and more of the new food, and April should transition just fine. Yeah!!! This week!!! You are going to have your hands full, but it will be so worth it. 🙂
I am level 9 on Woodlands, and I expected less junk and more good stuff! LOL

FFQ started her second week today… she was loaded down with binders (all 2″ and up with paper, etc.. 2 books, lunch box, purse, flute… one carry bag full with the binders, had her get a second one for the books (those stretchable bookcovers are slippery and come off easy) hooked her purse to the book bag.. and reminded her she chose to switch from the flute to the bassoon, hahahahahaha hahahahaha
dropped her off at the “drop off” area at the side of the school, then they have to walk down the side walk to get in the front door… 5 cars behind me and she says.. mommy I need help getting this stuff out of the car… I jump out (not dressed for public viewing so that is why I had to get out, lol, (striped “sleeping” pants.. so not.. woo hoo wink wink or gross, we just showered, could have been worse, lol)) run around the car, help her get out faster.. lol.. grab one bag, hook it over one shoulder, crawlk across the seat to get to the other one,m drag it out, hook on her other shoulder… hand her the flute bag.. lunch box and shove gently toward the path to the front door, shouted love ya and ran around the car, jumped in and got moving to not hold up the cars behind me any longer… passed FFQ before she reached the front door, which… the boy infront of her let the door go so it close before she could get in, lol… poor girl.. hahahahaha
I played bassoon, piles of 2-3inch thick books, I know.. nice to see tradition continuing a bit hehehe *pay back for flipping over during delivery and stopping it cold and talking 4 extra hours!! till she decided to come out)

jrsdad – sorry about you yuckness! i don’t feel well, either, but i don’t know what’s wrong – low grade fever, very tired, and stomach isn’t upset, but it’s queasy or something . . . the yucks are going around, i guess . . .

moms – I think I’m going to look into Orijin, Innova, Evo or Chicken Soup for the dog lover’s soul. I’m just not too struck on any of the brands that the local grocery stores sell. Too many animal by-products in a lot of the foods they carry. 🙁

Alisha!!! how exciting to be bringing your pup home soon. I used Purina ProPlan which is only available at like PetSmart and such or the vet and the less expensive is Purina One.. also good, I stuck with the chicken or turkey if they didn’t have the chicken.. easiest to digest. Cheerios for a reward treat during training, you can get the cheapy version of them, puppy sized milk bones and something special for potty successes, hehe

Walmart used to and may still carry the Purina One…
have to watch for the by products, when they use that term that means they can change it with every batch and that upsets the digestive track… and watch for the ones made in Mexico.. ingredients are rather iffy there..

I’m waiting on the phone repair man to come fix our phone. It has never been right since getting struck by lightening back in June. They came out and “fixed” it once already, but there’s still as much static as ever, if not worse. We don’t get incoming calls sometimes or it will ring once and hang up on the person calling you. Caller I.D. hasn’t been working either.
I can’t stand how they say….. someone will be there between 8 and 5….. can’t they give you a better estimate on time than that? 😯 I have stuff I need to do!

I was quite the sight this morning and then had to get gas too as I have to take my mom to a dr appt this after noon… oh well, at least I was just colorful and not… something else! haha
moms, were you still interested in a trade for my snow globe? I had hoped to get a regular webbie for it.. can throw in the Cowoline plush and the gas pump exclusive if that would make a deal of it 🙂
