JD- My little had severe stomach pains and was throwing up, she was screeming and it still took them forever to see her.
I was so upset and shocked.
What kind of Hospitals let a little girl scream in pain for hours?
She had excellent care after she was seen, but the wait was unbearable.

The pain was so bad they gave her morphin, so you can only imagine what she went through while waiting.

She was in the hospital for a week because she had a severe blockage.
It took over a month of medicine to cure the blockage.

I can’t believe we are ready for big emergency in this country.
Go to any emergency room at night and you will they are usually packed.
They take heart patients first, but after that I am not sure who rates.

yea they take certain people first. i fell off my bike once when i was about 5 and cut open my head (lol i was a klutz) we went to the ER and they like cleaned up the wound but we waited until about 12 or 1 am for me to get stiches

Oh yes its over KG- “Christmas in July” only happens for a day in our house! LOL
Hmm… learning activities- I like to do puzzle scavenger hunts- where if they solve a puzzle or make a poem or do a math problem (you get the idea)- they receive their next clue until they reach the prize. To help my little one learn her #’s I made up flash cards and set them on the floor all over the house and made her jump to #1 and then skip to #2 and then do the moonwalk to #3- you can also make them act like animals to get to the next # as well! They love that one!

Boogie – It didn’t. It was pitiful. I can’t believe how much dirt it was leaving behind. I almost got sick when I saw how much dirt was in the canister thingie-majig. π DISGUSTING. π

I know Alisha- I think I could vaccuum everyday and not get these floors completely clean- I think I want to go back to having a bag too because emptying the canister is so messy and I am allergic to dust so every time I empty it I start wheezing and my eyes water- it is horrible!!

My vaccum has a bag with dust filters and all.
I just have to remember when we cut the dogs hair, empty the bag that day.
Sometimes things can sit in the bag and get smelly.
I had a water vacuum, Rainbow, but it was such a mess to empty.
Funny, the things that can make us happy! LOL

Boogie – I used to have terrible trouble with allergies up until I was 18-20 and then it seemed like I grew out of them. I feel your pain though, I used to be the same way! Cats was the worst for me!
Gymbo – It’s a Bissell Power Groom. It was on sale at Walmart for $130 or something like that. It’s supposed to be great for pets / picking up hair, which I needed since Justin is so hairy. ROFL. π π It has a turbo brush and a contour pet tool. I love it so far! π

kgah – LOL. My hair is naturally a dirty blond color…. but I have been light brown, dark brown, NEARLY black, blond, and RED RED! I just want it back to my natural color… I’m sick of paying to have it dyed. π
Justin and I have already sent in a deposit on a puppy, so it’s a bit late to look at different breeds. π We need the dog for duck hunting in the harbour, and I want it for protection, although I know it will be a huge baby. π

Just remember they can be very destructive so keep an eye on him and keep him caged when you can’t.
They need a lot of exercise, but that should be fun.
My hubby’s sister still has the chocolate lab my son gave them.

KG, that is just awful about the long wait, it is atrocious, you need a dangling body part or spurting blood to get in faster. When I took my little for her sprained elbow (gift from her “loving” grandma (HIS mommy) there was no one else in the waiting room, we got into a room pretty soon and then waited about 45 min for a nurse to come take vitals, then another 40 min for the doctor to say, yep need an xray (knew that) then almost 2 hours waiting for the xray techs.. the doctor came back and asked about the xray.. said no one came yet.. another 20 min THEN someone came, then another half hour wait for the doctor again… geesh.. no follow up It is infuriating that they could keep your little waiting in severe pain for so long.

Labs take time to train, they are slow to start but do eventually learn… like most men though the dog is easier to train, hehehe I used Cheerios for a training treat, small so you can use them and not fatty and you can use them to reward yourself too, haha
My spaniel mix pup (lab was in him too) used to take books from the bookcase and “read” them with his teeth, lol 3 at home training sessions and he passed all 3 of his therapy dog tests. I thought he could pass one but he did great so I put him through all 3.. amazing dog, strong maternal instinct too

kraftymom, yeah, no kidding. i had 2 at first, cuz i didnt know how to add a second pet to an account, and that was back in january 2006 when i got my second webkinz. and then last august i got my 15th webkinz, a pinto, Abby, from Mall of America on vacation and accidently put her on happyandunoit. so, i got 4 new webkinz at the Wishing Well (a toy store) 2 weeks ago, and put 2 on happyandunoit, a sheep and a blue triggerfish, and i have to save 2 of my new ones, the cheeky monkey and lil persian cat for when my other 2 accounts expire, on christmas. so, i have 25 webkinz all together, 3 on HappyAndUNoIt, 16 on iceskatersparky, and 4 on Skatergirl77716. I am gonna comment right after this saying all my pets, in order, and what pet and their name. plus, the adoption date. So, if it takes me a while dont be suprised.

Gosh, I miss talking to all of you! I’ve been so busy the last couple of days. My paper is almost done! YEA! Probably one more day of editing. I’ve been working in my classroom, getting ready for the first day of school. My niece and her family are back from Conn. and I’ve been playing Webkinz with my great-niece…total convert!!!! Today I got my hair cut. We lopped off almost 5 inches! I was growing it out for Locks of Love, but just couldn’t take it anymore! Maybe next year.

We went shopping for Webbies today for my great-niece…new pink pony owner!!!…and saw a picture of a pre-sale webbie. The sign said “Purple Sparkle Iguana” Ganz Exclusive to be released in December.
Gymbo, do you have any info on this? I was thinking about going to take a picture of their ad, as they wouldn’t give it to me.

Alisha, I am very sorry for that, the system needs to have a way to snap a pic or reference the time for info. I would like to be able to report those who try to scam members with the food trades or wshop items for rares, etc.. how many kids are getting snookered by that and it just ticks me off to waste so much time… if not serious about trading just leave..
in the trading room, send a request to trade and they don’t want to trade.. then why are they in the trading room?? lol
