Fashion Week is a new event coming to Webkinz. From March 4 – 10, collect Fashion Week clothing in Webkinz World and combine them on the Clothing Machine at the KinzStyle Outlet to craft glamorous new garments for your pets. There are several ways you’ll be able to collect Fashion Week clothing:

• Get a piece of clothing through Today’s Announcements as soon as you log in
• Look for the floating garment bag in Webkinz World and click on it to get a piece of clothing (limited to 5 a day, 7 for Deluxe players)
• Look for Fashion Week clothing giveaways at Today’s Activities
• Find the daily floating piece of clothing at WebkinzNewz.com and click on it to send it back to your Webkinz account

The first time you log into Webkinz World during this event, you’ll be awarded the Fashion Week Guide. You’ll also be able to find it in the FUN STUFF section of the W-Shop under BOOKS.

UGH! On February 25th, look for the Tropical Troubles Trophy Challenge icon on your Webkinz account. Click on the icon to review your tasks. There are 3 tasks you’ll need to complete by midnight, March 3rd (EST) to earn the Tropical Troubles Trophy:

1. Earn 220 KinzCash playing Tropical Troubles in the Games Arcade
2. Spin the Wheel of WOW 4 times
3. Feed your pet 10 Bananas from the W-Shop

It is a cute trophy for a miserable game for me!

Speaking of mystery, here’s some summer mystery, methinks! None of this stuff is named yet, except in my head, where I have named it OMGNEEDSOBADLYHURRYUPSUMMER! I am about dying from the absolute desperate cuteness of the flamingo slippers and I need like three pairs of them! Obviously, the bows are part of the continuing line of birthstone items, which means we will see peridot, sapphire, and opal bows in the fall bags, and topaz, blue zircon, and garnet bows in the Christmas crackers.

More clothing, but this time, there’s an event attached! We’re going to have a new event called Fashion Week, which is probably meant to coordinate with the real Fashion Week in New York City. This event will work like the Bake Sale, in that you collect floaties and combine them on a device to make new outfits. Anyway, top row: Fashion Week Shades, Fashion Week Blazer, Fashion Week Sneaks. Middle row: Fashion Week Band, Fashion Week Shorts, Fashion Week Guide. Bottom row: Fashion Designer’s Desk, Garment Gift Bag, Garment Gift Bag 5 Pack. The clothing are the floaty items you collect to turn into other clothes. The guide is the recipe book. The desk, which gives you the ability to use a clothing machine in your house, is the device on which you combine the floaty clothes. (If you don’t win a desk, I’m presuming you can just combine the floaty clothes on the Clothing Machine at the KinzStyle Outlet.) The garment bags (which are estore, of course!) work just like the prize pie, in that you can either get a recipe clothing article or the Fashion Designer’s Desk Grand Prize. Sounds like fun, and I bet we see this event in years to come!

From momskinz: I keep getting “Bad Gateway” error messages on WKN this weekend. Is everyone else having this problem? I can’t complete PAN because of the errors.
