Here is a preview of the May 2011 Webkinz!  Shown are the Webkinz Shih Tzu, Webkinz Scottish Terrier, Webkinz Twilight Dragon, Webkinz Grizzly Bear and the Webkinz Pot Bellied Pig. The only May 2011 pet we have not seen yet is the Signature pet.

Tonight Ganz tweeted that they are “aware of the problem with the Leprechaun Chase not awarding the grand prize in some cases.  We will be awarding by a script on Monday.”

As many of us are aware, people who did not receive the Red Jelly Coin as their first coing from the Leprechaun in the Clubhouse appear to have the glitch.  If you are missing the Red Coin, purchasing this from the eStore WILL NOT solve the problem!

REMINDER:  Keep your eyes out for Gymbo’s Webkinz Blog’s tricky Leprechauns who might be popping up with mini-contests, prizes, or contests-within-a-contest throughout the week!

We decided have a weekend Comment Contest to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day coming up this week.   All you have to do to qualifty is comment with a 4 word minimum (like a lucky four leaf clover), include your WWID in your name on every comment, add momsownkinz & gymbokinz in WW, and be nice!  Contest ends at 8 pm KT Sunday night.  Thanks to Alisha & Dee for contributing to the prizes & planning.

Starting today, you can search for the Leprechaun in the Webkinz World Clubhouse.  From what we have found, if you pick a room in the Clubhouse and sit there, the Leprechaun should appear within 5 minutes.  He DOES NOT make a noise, though, so you have to be watching for him!  You can collect a “Jelly Coin” food item every 3 hours (or purchase from the eStore).  Once you collect 6 coins, you win the Lucky Leprechaun Coin Pond.  Thanks to Gwenda for alerting us to a glitch with awarding the pond:  If you got the orange coin first instead of the red you will (probably) not be able to get the pond until Ganz fixes the Glitch. Apparently we we are supposed to get the red one first, which only a few people actually did.

Look for Patty the MAZIN’ Hamster between March 12th and March 16th on Webkinz Newz. Complete the Peek-A-Newz challenge each day to win a piece of clover patch! Each day begins at 9am and runs until 9am the following day.

Finally, visit Webkinz Newz on St. Patrick’s Day to get a Shamrockin’ Guitar!
