Congealed Salad



This is a wonderfully simi sweet southern style table salad. Its very yummy and easy to make!

6 ounce box cherry jello
21 ounce can cherry pie filling
20 ounce can crushed pineapple
8 ounce box cream cheese
¾ cup sugar
24 ounces sour cream

Mix Jello with 1 ½ cup boiling water in a mixing bowl

Add Cherry pie filling and pineapple, include the juice, and mix well.

Pour the  mixture  in 10.5 x14.75 glass baking dish like Pyrex, then put in fridge and allow to the Jello to set.

Mix the cream cheese, sour cream and sugar in a mixing bowl until you get a creamy consistency then spread this toping over the salad.
